  1. There is a difference between writing down a goal and actually achieving that goal. Bubba so far has been good at writing down the goals but not so good at the other part
  2. Get DAE back in the Betty!! It’s where he belongs!
  3. PG play is going to be a HUGE issue without Tyree being able to go. I still believe shooting is going to be a HUGE issue next season as well. The loss of both Trent and Norman is going to be bigger than many people believed or want to believe. We will miss both of them greatly. Like you said, I'm guessing it is too late to bring anyone in that will make any sort of an impact for either of those two areas. Like @GoodGood said, another poster once told us that we don't need a PG and that it is so easy anybody can do it, so we shouldn't be worried at all
  4. Assuming Tyree doesn’t have a ruling yet? Doesn’t sound great though.
  5. Question, why is everyone under the assumption that Sather is going to bench HIS guy Brady Danielson? Is he really going to go from a starter playing 30 minutes a game to being benched? I have a hard time believing Sather would do that to his guy. I know Sueker got benched last year, but that was a much different situation than this one.
  6. A shooter would be nice! We currently have 0 on roster (if you don’t count Hong )
  7. Yeah if your team GPA starts with a 2 it's probably best to just not post it for the public to see....
  8. Okay, Dillon.
  9. Not sure what is so funny??
  10. Academy of Art is a solid D2 in San Francisco. Made national tournament the last two years.
  11. He averaged 13 PPG for Montverde and had other low D1 offers before choosing to walk-on at Uconn. Article I read said Hurley brought him in to make practices more competitive and that he was liked by all teammates. I would think if you're helping make practices more competitive for the national championship team, then you could probably compete at UND. Would be really intriguing to reach out and see if there would be any interest in coming to ND!
  12. I just saw this tweet this morning and thought the same thing. Would definitely get some buzz going if we brought in a reigning national champion!
  13. Has anybody heard or seen anything on where Levias or Trent will be playing next year?
  14. For some old fashioned coaches that may be the case. However times have changed. Having the last names on the back of the jersey does not mean you are all individuals and not a team. So far from the truth and honestly such a soft mentality to have by some coaches. Maybe take a look at this: https://www.al.com/sec/2021/09/deion-sanders-goes-on-rant-about-why-names-should-be-on-jerseys-what-is-that-an-extra-5-a-jersey.html#:~:text=Deion Sanders is pretty adamant, the SWAC%3F” he asked.
  15. Lol. Last names on the back of a jersey really isn't that deep!
  16. We need to get Hong a NIL deal ASAP
  17. Here is my very first post about last season after the first exhibition game against Waldorf..... (not sure how to quote it from that thread to this one or if I even can) @homer Again, you are dead wrong on this one. Give it a rest.
  18. Here, I will paint this out for you so that you can understand. Myself and others said the whole year last year from beginning to end that with the level of players that we had, we should have been a middle of the pack Summit team. Hence, we had D1 level players that could compete in the Summit League. Said that the whole year. I also think you're getting a little confused on the difference between having a few individuals who have no business playing D1 basketball and the overall talent of the team. Yes, there are players like Reid Grant who have no business playing D1 basketball, but no one complained about the OVERALL talent level of the roster last year. In fact, many of us were very delighted to see D1 level size and skill players this past season. (Omot, Eaglestaff, Brooks, Trent, to name a few) Again, I think you are confused on your years man. I understand you want to try disagree with anything myself and a few others say, but you are dead wrong on this one. Give it a rest.
  19. No one complained about last years team not having D1 talent. People were actually very happy that we finally had D1 level players on the roster. Now, people were complaining about the 2021-2022 team because that was MAYBE an average NSIC team trying to play D1 basketball. I think you are a little confused on your years man.
  20. What you just said makes 0 sense. Let's give our last scholarship to a walk-on who is going to redshirt instead of the walk-on that already spent a year redshirting and has been with the program, has proven to be a good teammate and a valuable practice player. How does that make any sense?? You also act like Hong wasn't a PWO either and was just a student that we pulled out of Biology class and asked if he wanted to join the team. Hong was in the exact same position as Bothun and Kraft being a PWO coming to UND. So that point is invalid.
  21. Not sure what @SiouxBoys and @SD UND have against Daniel Hong that they would downvote my post about Hong getting a scholarship..... odd behavior from "UND fans" From everything I have heard from his teammates and other people, he is a great teammate and a great practice player. If we can't find anyone else that is scholarship worthy to come to UND then I don't see why you wouldn't reward Hong with a scholarship.
  22. Hopefully they give it to Daniel Hong
  23. Do we still have 1 scholarship available?
  24. I’ll always remember Western Illinois for that guy that dropped 46 on Brady Danielson last season
