  1. Obviously there will be more information that comes out... But, how are they going to implement the policy again after the 14 day window where these guys play 2-4 games... if they play in that window and the ruling is implemented have they used their year of eligibility during that 14 day stretch???? Crazy!
  2. My guess is #4 makes his return against Utah Tech
  3. Will be interesting the guidance they get after today as far as the Risk/reward of playing. I think most guys will play for the 2 weeks... what is the NCAA going to do after that happens???? To me this kills the waiver stuff and guys can play... right or wrong I have no idea.
  4. I'm just agreeing with all the other super smart guys
  5. No idea, should be easy to get every team in the Summit League, Big Sky, OVC, and Horizon to agree to something like that every year. All these coaches and administrators should be ashamed that there isn't something like this. On top of the NSIC Summit challenge- they should add this next year, it's so simple
  6. Not at all, I'm with @SIOUXFAN97 @GoodGood @McBuckets and @HoopsFan03 these games must stop and we must play NSIC teams +Jamestown. Plus we need to not play in a MTE over thanksgiving and do this NSIC v Summit Challenge. That way UND will be more prepared for Summit league play.
  7. Probably because they are scaredy cats (hopefully i don't get reported for cat speak) I demand that UND plays 3 NSIC teams next year and one has to be on the road. If they don't I will be calling a meeting with AD William Chaves. This must stop.
  8. My guess is never. Which is awful, it needs to change starting next year. Can't believe it's never happened since the "Summit League" has formed, all these D1 Summit schools should be ashamed of themselves and should play these NSIC schools. I'm upset!
  9. No this is a fantastic idea. NDSU, SDSU, USD, and UND would all agree to this. They would jump at the opportunity to go play in Aberdeen vs NSU or travel to Minot to play the Beavers. Your thinking is innovative and impressive. I think you are really on to something here.
  10. Yes, this sounds great and I believe everyone would jump at the chance to travel to play a NSIC team. Great work!
  11. See, now this is realistic… and it was something that was in the works in 2020 and 2021 but Montana shut it down
  12. I don’t need to think that deep when talking about something that won’t happen.
  13. I gave you the reason why they won't do it. Because no one would. You didn't like that answer... I don't know what to tell you.
  14. Ok, you win... UND should just schedule all Summit league teams one extra game in the non league slate. That way we can play everyone in the Summit 3 times a year. Fans wouldn't get sick of that at all and the players and coaches would love it. Head--->Brick wall
  15. The specific reason has been stated multiple times already. There isn't a team in the country that is going to schedule a conference opponent during the non conference season. You are already playing those teams 2 times a year maybe 3... why would you sign up for a potential 4th game against a conference opponent??
  16. Again, it's fun to discuss... it will never happen. Never.
  17. To reiterate... again. No team in the entire country is going to play a conference opponent in the non conference season. That's why it's dumb.
  18. I'm embarrassed for you that I have to spell this out for you.
  19. Someone tell this guy... another one over his head.
  20. To be nice and gentle so I don't hurt anyone's feelings- That is the absolute dumbest idea of all time. I award you no points... and my god have mercy on your soul.
  21. @GoodGood @HoopsFan03 rebuttal?? thoughts?
  22. the biggest issue with NIL is that it is not being used as it was intended to. It's supposed to be that the athletes are able to market themselves- go out and find opportunities to make money themselves. Instead, it has turned into schools putting together collectives and giving money away because Coach X said they need to in order to get them here. You can't put the toothpaste back in the tube...and the NCAA has allowed the tube to be totally squeezed out.
