Before everyone gets all fired up about having 4 non D-1's on the schedule- the WIU departure is the major culprit of that. Also is the Big Sky v Summit Challenge dead then??

I wonder if the Pentagon or Sioux Falls Sports Authority actually makes any money on these games.. you would assume they would have to, but it has to take quite a bit of money to get these teams there and then to only be able to sell 3-4K tickets for the game. REA could do that but would Grand Forks and surrounding areas sell out the Ralph to watch Baylor v. Gonzaga for hoops? I would hope they could but I'm not sure. In dream land if UND could land the Goophs at the Ralph, that would be an awesome atmosphere, which is exactly why they would never do it! I also don't think the UND athletic department would ever look at it with the scheduling and staff strain it would put on REA and UND during hockey season. Would be awesome to see, however.

It's is interesting thinking about how different this team has a chance to be with a lot of the same guys returning... last year they were one of the worst teams in the country at 2 point %... a lot of that has to do with T not being a great great finisher at the rim... but they almost basically scrapped 2's all together and tried to get up 30-40 3's a game. This year, the new guys they brought in can "hypothetically" really score at the rim and play fast. We'll see if they can up the tempo in league games... summit league is one of the slower paced conferences in the country (not 100% sure on that but that's and educated guess, feel free to fact check me hoops, good, buckets)

Judging by the types of players he's brought in, it leads me to believe they are going to try and play fast and maximize possessions.

Think you can probably slide Kujluhovic down to the 5 and Mara hopefully could slide into backup 4

If he's not better than the guys already at the 2-3-4 than I don't see him playing major minutes this year.

Think it's more realistic that this guy provides depth at 4/3 spot. This tells me that UND really likes Amar K and T at the 5 spot. Now really the only "big" news they are waiting on is Tyree's eligibility. Which I don't think the odds are great... but still a chance

Great hire, Bentiu will be do a great job. If people haven't got to meet him, go introduce yourself, just an awesome dude with a bright future in literally anything he wants to do.

Eli King is a PG, Treysen can play spot minutes at PG, a guy like Elijah Brooks could carve a unique role out of that position as well, just wouldn't be "conventional" Maybe you 3 or 4 goofs that think Daniel Hong can be an All-American will get your wish and he'll be the PG.

I believe they are comfortable with their guard position. Any addition this late will most likely be a big.
