Phenomenal reporting. Who could have connected those dots
-
Would be a nice get- Supposedly hearing from multiple schools- McNeese St... so it might be tough unless everyone cools off on him
-
I bet Rohde is having fun tonight
-
Fair enough, you guys like player freedom and social media hype in recruiting, I like loyalty and miss that aspect of college sports. Unfortunately, loyalty is dead in college athletics, which makes the product less entertaining.
-
That is strange and odd behavior from some... hmmmmmm
-
Never said he was "unsuccessful" I guess if averaging 4.4 ppg makes him happy then I'm glad he found his goal for college hoops.
-
I don't hate Moody- he hasn't played at UND since the calendar year of 2019, I hope he has matured, and it looks like he probably has, congrats to him on all conference. In his 19th year of college hoops
-
Yes, you are correct, 3 years instead of 4.
-
Rebraca- played 4 years at UND, graduated- no problem with him leaving especially with his academic goals he had for his last two years Ethan- was at UND for 5 years!!!! - Graduated, it was time to move on Tyree- it was so good at JMU for Tyree that he transferred back to UND. Paul Bruns- 9th place team in Summit league Andrew Rohde- Freshman of year in Summit- transfers to Virginia- averages 4.4 ppg on an average ACC team that probably won't make the NCCA tournament- fun! I'm sure he loves it The guys that it has worked out for are the guys that have stayed 3-4 years and then go play their SR year in the P5 conferences (I.e Griesel, Scheierman, Nelson (I guess you can call this successful? He probably has hurt his "Draft Stock" more than helped it though)
-
DAE and Moody are laughable to use as examples. It took both of those clowns 3-4 years AFTER leaving UND and two schools each to figure it out. Sorry if that hurts your feeling guys, as you both still read this.

Sure. We probably have different opinions about the current landscape of college athletics. I hate it. I think there are better ways for players to “get paid” rather than just open the floodgates and have the rich get richer and the low and mid major teams suffer for finding kids that the big dogs wouldn’t sniff at in recruiting. We have a worse product because of it. im not faulting BJ, if I would have his opportunity, it would be insane to turn down 100k plus. But i don’t like what it does for the summit league and UND
-
I would argue that Filip is a better player than bj. And played 4 years at UND and graduated. im not saying there aren’t instances where it’s a great decision. im saying there are way more instances where it’s a net negative for literally everyone involved
-
Don’t spin the comments into something they’re not boys.. let me break it down for you. i used the word unfortunately to describe that “unfortunately, UND cannot afford to pay him that money” ”to be less happy in the long run” refers to the overwhelming reality in college basketball that it’s almost a guarantee that he plays significantly less minutes and has less of an impact… which later on in life i would bet the thought comes through his head “hmm maybe i shoulda just stayed” Class dismissed

Unfortunately, he'll probably get more than that.... and be less happy in the long run, IMO

My guess is Kraft only gets a scholly if multiple open up.
-
If Tyree leaves I don't think it will be to another school, it will be to go pro. Treysen will have MM's trying to lure him away but it would be a huge mistake on his part... hopefully he listens to the right people. BJ will leave, IMO and that is also a huge mistake on his part.

Love to see a guy go absolutely silent when UND is playing well and winning games... one loss in the conference tourney and here comes the loudmouth expert setting everything on fire again... who woulda thought
-
Yes, he will be suspended for Summit League tournament and then removed from the team in the offseason for this irresponsible act.. it has no place on this team

I have no idea on Osborn. I saw Bruner go down but didn't know it was achilles... two years in a row denver goes into tourney without their best player.
-
Wonder if Osburn and Glover will be ready to go for Omaha??? Is Bruner out for Denver??
-
Best possible matchup for UND.. saying that and they could definitely still drop one to Omaha, but i feel better about them rather than playing ORU… even tho ORU has looked atrocious
