The jets dman pickup is kind of out there but hope he pans out. He is going to play in the USHL next year anyway right? Maybe he will develop to be a fine dman in the WCHA.

Portage won thier series last night. McIntyre with a goal. He was named Series MVP.

Played this season for the Tri-City storm of the USHL as a sophmore. He's from grand forks. He had 2 points in 9 playoff games and 22 points in 59 reg. season games with 71 pm. http://ushl.com/statistics/index.cfm

I think Marto would make a better forward IMHO. He played both in the ND state championship. The size thing doesnt bother me much since he has over a year and will gain weight by concentrating on one sport and the weight room. I was surprised to hear he was going to UND though, I really thought he would chose a baseball school but its good to hear he's willing to concentrate on this. Now Finley or Dowzak would make a nice compliment to him.

Portage lost last nite 4-2 but McIntyre scored both goals. Portage is up in the series 2-1 and they play tonite. Has anyone been to any of these games?

Mario and Tri-city ended thier season tonite with a 3-2 loss. In the playoffs Mario had 2 assists, he was +3, and had 25 penalty min. Mario was a goal short of getting a Gordie Howe hattrick tonite. He had the fight and assist.

USHL and downtown

Tonite on the news they interviewed Gino Gasparini. He said if that arena passes he would love to put a team in fargo. That a better rink would help bring people out to the games and so on. What are peoples thoughts?

Last night Bochenski scored in a 4-2 playoff win to make the series 2-0 lead. Bayda scored the game winner to win the game 2-1 and tie the series 1-1.

Portage goes up 2-0 in the series. They won 5-3 with McIntyre gettin a goal and as assist. So if they win this series do they go into the RBC or are they already in it?

Mario had an assist in a 4-1 loss to Sioux City tonite they are down in the series now 2-1.
