There is no way they could bring in Dowzak and Finley. They would have to pick one unless for the 06-07 season Greene would graduate, Smaby would leave and Bina isnt cleared to play. Im not sure that would happen either. I think Bina will take a season off than play again next year. Its a coin flip if Greene comes back. Smaby will more than likely leave after this season. There is a chance they would need both dman. I dont think Alexander will ever end up with any icetime but he could work his way up too.

I think Oshie could only benefit from a year in the USHL but he will have to mature quickly this summer and fall. He should do fine in a 3rd of 4 line role. This class of having 12 players is insane. A bulge class like that is hard for a couple years on the team. Hopefully they do better than 2001-02 team. The early departures always take me off guard. I hate to see players deflect from college to not go straight to the nhl. They have to play in the AHL and maybe not make it to the NHL ever. Roche would be a good example, but if the NHL comes back he should get his shot. I am not sure Brady will make that good of a pro because of his size but hes made it this far hopefully he proves me wrong.

I agree with redwing. Oshie, Vandy and Marto should come for 2006. 2005 is a huge class already. Even if any of the other forwards leave I still cant see any of those guys coming early. A year in the USHL could help them get more prepared for the WCHA. From what I saw from Oshie is that he isnt as big as Vandy but he can still hit when he needs to. Gaining some muscle still would be helpful for all 3 of those recruits. Why is there 3 walk-ons this year and will any of them play? Alexander, Mertens, and Walski what will happen. I know Walski is basically for practice but how about Mertens since I know nothing about this guy. I will say Foyt and Marvin more than likely wont even dress 6 games combined next year with all these talents coming in.

I think Fabian will be a better player on what i saw at the end of the year. He was hurt most of last season so if he can stay healthy he will be a regular player.

Jordan Willert from Minot hs was taken 153 to tri city. Jacques Lamoureaux from Bismarck NAHL was taken 138 to sioux falls. No moorhead players taken?? kinda wierd A couple jets players taken in Trevor Bruess and Creighton Scarpone. Taken 48th and 50th respectively.
