Farragher gets extremely lucky that Parks didn't lift the puck and Rowney threw the puck by a wide open net. In the meantime two UND players go to the same guy and SCSU hit the crossbar which is being reviewed.

I wish UND had a defenseman that played like Nick Jensen. The guy has things under control the entire time he's out there.

Fun to watch Parks drive to the net. Good lesson for young kids on how to protect the puck while driving wide to the net.

Regardless of what happens this third period this effort is a thousand times better then yesterday. They could get scored on five times and lose 7-2, and it'd still be better.

Tie game. SCSU will sit back and play defense and maybe jump on a chance on a powerplay or UND mistake. UND will press to try and get the lead, but hopefully not make that mistake that allows SCSU to gain a great opportunity.

When Kristo-Knight-Grimaldi get the puck down low and go to work its tremendous to watch. Talk about hands and skill going to work. Why didn't anybody think about this line before?

Completely different hockey team. At times tonight I'm thinking "Be careful, you may get a penalty for slashing that hard...." Or "ohh that hit may have been a bit high...." Glad to see the team that plays on the edge showed up Saturday. I'd like to see them bury SCSU this second period.

We have a guy in front but he has to take away the goaltenders vision. He is worthless in front if he's not doing something to make the defensemen or goaltender do something to move him......way to easy....

Watching Michigan State vs. Penn State on BTN......talk about taking a step back next season in their new league as far as level of competition goes. The gophers shouldn't lose a game on their big ten schedule. Well....maybe Wisconsin will get them once out of four games. You heard it here first, Minnesota wins the big ten hockey conference next season.

I'm not sure about the love affair with Senkbeil. I thought he'd see time sparingly this year, but I guess if the coaches believe he's earned his spot then so be it. I lost my Jim love when he took the major against Denver which almost ended up biting them in the rear.

Senkbeil must have naked pictures of Hakstol.....has to.... Mitch in a suit surprises me. How many times does a player go from the top unit to sitting in the press box?

Put me in the "Loves the success at the final five" category. Although when a team like Duluth a few years ago loses out right away, has a full week and a half layoff and comes back rested and wins the national championship you have to put chips into the argument for it not being the most important thing for UND. Would things have turned out differently for UND last year had they not came back to beat Minnesota at the Final Five? Did playing one more game cost them in the long run? They don't end up in a regional in St. Paul......likely they would have been out east in BC's bracket. And we know how that would have turned out the way that BC was playing.

I like some of the different combos thrown out there. One thing I noticed.....none of them included Senkbeil. Glad I'm not the only one.

So if you play Mark M. on the top line tonight do you put Rocco on the second line with Rowney and Parks? Then third line......Caggiula-Gaarder-Mitch? Fourth line: St. Clair-Pattyn-Rodwell
