No one should underestimate the importance of that win tonight.....just....huge....big big win. It will be tough to crack the top two. SCSU and Minnesota are pretty well set unless they have catastrophic finishes. Don't think Denver wins a game at Mariucci next weekend......maybe a point.....

Agreed with Hak on keeping those guys off. No reason to have something stupid happen to those guys for the stretch run. Especially when you've got guys getting clothes lined and cross checked in the back of the head.

Holy Cross is just clinging to being a TUC.....as long as they stay there and just keep fighting it'll help UND in the pairwise. UND with a great opportunity to end up in the top three in the WCHA. I've got them playing Tech at home right away in the WCHA playoffs.

UND would have swept the season series with DU if not for some goaltender from Finland finding a horse shoe up his rear end the two times he played them.

UND really needs to take a strong look at Jon Lizotte. Talk about a bowling ball physical presence. Give this kid two years of junior hockey.... I've always been a proponent of getting ND kids on the squad. Jon Lizotte definitely fits the mold of a gritty Sioux player.

I have a feeling UND will spend some time in the box this period.

He was one of the best forwards against UNO as far as physicality and playing his role. Has to be something going on.....

Heartbreaking loss for the UND women. That'll be a killer in the pairwise as well. Need to sweep Mankato out of the Ralph next weekend, beat Wisconsin at the league tournament, then find some way to give Minnesota their first loss. Not impossible. But a long ways to go.
