I think Omaha's pops tonight. I was rooting for them to get over the hump too, but they got arguably the hottest team in the NCHC in their home arena where they haven't lost in regulation since December.

You get the stique of being a shut down goaltender and people leave off facts like I was also tied with Schmaltz (And Ludvig, Hobie, Kaleb) in goals scored this season.

All four home teams win game #1. I see the same thing Saturday. If I was to pick a road team tomorrow I'd say Western.

I'm a bit scared that QB guru KOC thinks they can make Darnold into something he's not and they don't move up in the draft. The guy has all the physical tools in the world, but can't read a defense to save his life and turns the ball over. I was in the boat of let it ride with Mullens until the QB you draft is ready to go. Alas, we've got the QB that sees ghosts...

Teams with any kind of question mark in the net are saved by the Portal. So many older goalies there like the one who beat us on Saturday evening in Omaha. There really isn't an excuse any more to have a goaltending issue.

Omaha at Baxter vs. Miami at REA is an apples to (insert whatever isn't close to an apple) comparison. Miami isn't close to what Omaha is. Omaha is 11th in the pairwise, Miami is 47th with 1 league win. I didn't expect us to sweep Omaha during senior weekend at Baxter with their season hanging by each game they play from here on out. I do expect us to sweep Miami.

There is a pro football/hockey hating line in the sand crowd that shows up when hockey isn't going well. As a UND grad I prefer to cheer for and support all the teams, but not all in the fan base feel that way

The Mavs in St. Paul? I like it. But I'm picking CC because Mayotte has got that group playing fantastic at home.

Miami @ UND Duluth @ Denver Western @ SCSU Omaha @ CC I think it's a safe bet to take all the home teams. Maybe a third game in Stearns County, but I've got each home team advancing.

Congrats to them. They got their home sweep, and are basking in getting 8 of 12 against us. They deserved the weekend. Now they've got to get to the X for the first time ever. Gotta beat CC in the Springs likely? The way those guys are playing at home? If they get there they deserve it.
