I try not to over defend, but nothing TJ could've done on that one even if he gets back across.
Not a weak goal against this weekend. Break away, terrible bounce off the D, and a 2-1 play.
Two big saves in OT to help the cause.
They are going to have some decisions when Berg gets back. I think it allows them to go with a heavy line of like Schmaltz-Jammer-Kunz, or maybe Littler instead of Kunz as at times Kunz forgets he's the biggest guy on the ice surface.
Mac needs a line without Schmaltz and Kunz. Maybe you replace Owen with Kunz and have Owen with Wilkie and Mac when Berg gets back. Drawback being....is Kunz a top line forward???? IDK....
Guy hits goalie earlier, guy lined opposite goalie's roommate on a faceoff with under 10 seconds to go and game decided.....
I wonder what was going to happen....
The more the season goes on the more I'm convinced that the team is TJ's and will go as far as he takes them. Doesn't seem like the coaches have much faith in Hedquist, and thus we've seen more TJ.
Guessing next season we see another portal goalie to go along with Heil and Hedquist.
