Great run kid. No Bubba ball offense, move the ball around.

I was hoping we would try and... #pinem

Clear shot at a qb, ends with a TD. What on earth....

This is a @Oxbow6 question. I'll say 10,000.

Using timeouts so we can get it back and play field position. I like it Bubba. Punt em back inside their 30.....
-
Then you read this morning that Shaduer was trying to pad stats by getting his buddy a TD late. Any other team but NDSU you are hoping they connect at the end and make them pay for that stupidity. Long year for the Buffs.

Boy is Colorado not well coached. Deion's kid with zero clue with the play clock, their cover schemes, and his other kid with late hits and just terrible safety play. After the PI call you take three knees and maybe punt it with 15 seconds or less. That is a mediocre Colorado team that will score a bunch of points, but give up a million points at the same time. If that game is in Fargo I think NDSU wins it. I thought Miller looked pretty good. Seemed like Landry went a bit Bubba in the 2nd half, but we've all been there.

I'm surprised the kid is still uncommitted, but he's got to have loads of schools interested in him. Maybe Nick Naumenko or the Jones brothers can sway an Illinois kid to head North.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Just did a quick look over the roster, and can't remember a year in recent memory that we had so much size. There are 12 guys on the roster 6'2 or above. Did some research and last year there were 9 guys that tall, and the years before we averaged about 6 to 7 kids that size. Eleven new faces this year, 6 of the 11 are 6'2 plus. Heavy hockey a priority? Edit* Sigh....the tallest team since 10-11......and I don't want to talk about that one...... -
There is currently a kid in the metro that played AAA and didn't make the team this off-season so he won't be going back. If he decides to keep playing it's the JV team until January (gasp). Rumor has it that he's probably done with hockey.

As an old WDA guy it pains me to see the rosters come out for the NDAHA preseason teams. The 15O team has four kids from the West? One kid from Minot, two from Bismarck, and a Valley City kid.....that lives 60 minutes from Fargo. Probably not going to get much better down the line. Part of me hopes that with the tryouts mainly being in the east side of the state the western kids don't want to travel for the tryout and multiple weekends in West Fargo or in Grand Forks.

My wish of one day watching a Feeney take it to the Bison in the Fargodome has died a sad death. At the same time if the kid isn't 100% committed to being here and being a positive part of the QB room regardless of the depth chart then its time to find another place to play his college football. I wish the kid well, was hopeful he would one day take the reigns, but life doesn't always work out the way we plan it too.

In the EDC, West Fargo High School is losing their senior starting goaltender (Norton) to a team in Las Vegas I believe.
-
Muss had some dudes that could score the football. And at the same point some dudes that couldn't tackle or cover people.
-
Congrats to Simon. I thought Feeney would've taken the rains, but the decision for who starts isn't taken lightly.
-
Sad day. Great guy.

I've got to be able to spell the one kid's name before I make anything public.

Two months later: Pitching has hung in there. Topa back, Stewart back, the bullpen is getting close to the best it's ever been. Jax, Stewart, Topa, Duran, Alcala from the 7th on doesn't sound terrible. Lineup wise, Wallner has figured it out, should be a regular. Correa back in a few weeks, but Lee and Castro can handle short. It's a playoff team, now can we get one more starting pitcher....

The Zajic kid is fantastic with the puck....fantastic. I think a potential first rounder when he fills out his frame in the weight room. Another kid Brad didn't list to look out for is Cooper Soller. Later 08 birthday so will only be a Sophomore this year, but the hockey sense and skating ability were among the best on a good Shattuck team.

I think Rowe initially before Hammer figures out the pace and enters the rotation. I thought he'd back up Castro this year, but he took the bull by the horns and became the guy. Looking forward to a January start for him when the Broncos visit REA.
-
Hammer is now a Bronco. Wonder what kind of scholarship they got for brother Grant.

Slukynsky was #1 at Warroad. I don't think KJ would mind switching numbers. -
