They won't pay taxes per se, but it was discussed at the meeting they would pay some sort "tax". The land for the casino would be in a trust and the land for the resort would be under the tribe. I think they would pay property tax on the resort side. I believe that's what was stated by Feland

I don't see the state giving approval, the legislature just shot down sports betting due to concerns of gambling addiction and social economic problems. I hope it goes through and is a success. But I will hold my breath as GF dosnt like to have nice things
