Satellite Coordinates for Saturday's Game?
OhioSiouxFan replied to Reformed Gphr Fan's topic in Men's Hockey
ok I'll try that. I did change the LNB type from "single" to "Universal" and got the CBS newspath in the 11 thousand frequncy range, and also pulled in two Macy's networks and some other things. But no UND game. SHould I be using universal over single for LNB setting? I'll tweak as you suggested in the meanwhile. Im using a brand new sonicview 4000 FYI. -
Satellite Coordinates for Saturday's Game?

nothing. I'm getting CBS on a Quality of 42. Do I need to tweak the dish or something? Is this new frequency going out with less power than the 12031 was? I'm in Ohio, does that make a difference being this far out east? -
Satellite Coordinates for Saturday's Game?

I'm not getting anything at that frequency..... I am getting the the CBS Newsfeed at 12710. Is this the same damn satellite I'm supposed to be on? I haven't moved my dish all year. IA6 is the bird. -
I live in Toledo Ohio, where they're building a new hockey arena 20 miles from Bowling Green State University (CCHA) and Michigan that's 40 miles away. Here's the link to the new arena (yes, selfishly, my office is directly across the street - LOL): http://www.lucascountyarena.com/ Perhaps an ice breaker tourney could be put together with BGSU hosting a WCHA, CCHA and east team? Oh, and the new ECHL team in toledo is the Toledo Walleye. www.toledowalleye.com

Did you get your signal back.? I lost mine too.
-
Has anyone else lost the satellite feed for FSSN?! I had the first period and now no signal!?
-
If you think Woog and Mozzacco were bad last weekend, they will make your ears bleed this coming weekend in Denver. Lost will be the fact that Hak and UND stepped up and handled this head on, unlike some other situations in the past with WCHA teams (circa 1996 in M town).
-
My question about this whole incident was, "How in the world did FSN always have a camera over Hak's shoulder for the entire game?" Did they have a camera assigned to him? Especially so in the conversations he had with Adams. These were aside talks that every coach has with refs during a game, but the cameras (with audio) always seemed to be there for Hak on Saturday. (Followed by incredulous comments by Woog and Moz). (BTH, anyone else see the irony in Woog's comments how suspension was coming off this? No flashbacks on FSN to 1996?)

Well, off to bed. Up at 3 am for Ohio Waterfowl opener....
-
Well, I guess I'm glad I didn't drive to Boston (from Ohio) for this. Kinda reminds me of that UND v Minnesota game at thier rink that ended up with delays because of bad ice. From BC's perspective, you've known for months this game was going to be on CSTV. But can't control the ice. Oh well. Go Sioux!
-
Agree. Can't tell if it's just because that net is further from the camera position. Camera is just right of center line.
-
Great action there at the BC net. We need a good bounce.
-
No way that should have been offsetting doubles....IMO

This game will be a good match up. I saw Michigan play Ohio State this year, and Mich was flat the entire game, despite playing on home ice. (Something we see UND do every so often too) However, both teams will undoubtedly show up this Friday ready to play hard. But, if one team is flat for even one period, that team will lose. Go Sioux!

Just 50 miles from Ann Arbor, I'm surrounded by Michigan fans. My UND Flag is flying at my house though. This is my favorite week of the year! Go Sioux!

Is this game on Satelite tonight? Blank screen so far...
-
Hi, Just got home to put on the game and no signal on my satellite. Is the game on FTA tonight?
-
Absolutely great picture tonight. Had some trouble finding the satellite, but PSB Pete helped me find it by instant messaging. Take my advice, if you want to get these games on satellite, PSB Pete is the only guy to call. Thanks again Pete. Go Sioux!

If you guys really want to pull your hair out, read the Mike McFeely column on the in-forum website. http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm...=Mike%20McFeely Go Sioux!

This looks like a good satellite. Has anyone tuned in to it to see the quality of the feed? Aside from the test frequency, are there any other 24/7 signals on this bird? I'll post if I find one.

I completely agree. "Goal North Dakota!" is just fine with me. Also, REA is not owned by UND, but don't think it matters. At Ohio State arena (Value City Arena) the NCAA had EVERYTHING covered up, no ads, no nothin.... If we have to change, NO New Mascot is my choice. Let the Boosters have the licensing, and the cash for the continuing sale of the jerseys that will flood the arena/stadium/dome. The NCAA can't take that away from the fans, although they may try....Go Fighting Sioux!

For the record, I stayed to watch the hand shake line after the game and it did look like Paukovich was a bit hesitant to do it, but in the end the Sioux players all shook his hand just like any other DU guy. Thought that was some character on the part of our team in that situation....
-
Out of shape fat guy at the arena? I think that was me.....
-
Yes it is! Herb and I are heading to Columbus right now!!! Go Sioux!
