Get Sather out now. This can’t keep happening. Everyone has blamed the players for being toxic and what not the last few years. Time for the common denominator to be held responsible. This is beyond ridiculous

Didn’t South Dakota lose Umude to transfer and have their second best player out all year with injury? Transfers are part of the game now and we did a poor job this year in replacing what we lost. Let’s get BJ signed, hang onto the young guys, and build a promising core heading into next year

To the people saying that this team cant afford major turnover this off-season I ask why? I love that they play hard but this is not a D1 roster. There are probably 3, maybe 4 guys that can or MAY be able to develop into guys that could play a role on a top 3 team in the Summit. The only team below us in the Summit this year is St Thomas, a D3 school, who has a loaded recruiting class coming in and won't be at the bottom much longer. If we run it back next year with this roster plus Eaglestaff I have a hard time believing we'd finish higher than 8th

Not saying we need to fire sather today but at some point this has to fall on him. I don’t like the transfer excuse. Almost every other team in the country has dealt with it, we’ve just handled it poorly. St Thomas was playing D3 basketball last year and they’re better than us! First year was Sathers best year. Those were all Jones guys. Year 2, lots of roster turnover and not as good of year. Year 3, lots of roster turnover and now we have the worst D1 team at UND? Worst team in terms of talent in the summit in the last 5 years? Bottom 10 team overall in D1 basketball. If we even want to be competitive next year the roster is going to have to turn over again. Just not enough talent. Not many D1 guys. If we run it back next year with basically the same roster plus Eaglestaff maybe we’re fighting for 7th or 8th place?

I think the problem is that they left immediately after the season. We knew what we had to replace and we’ve done a poor job doing it. It’s not like tyree and Filip left in August. I’d be fine having a rough season if we had a trio of freshman like Webb, Anderson, and Huff where we know we got some talent, it’s just going to take some time to develop it and get experience. I don’t know how many guys on this roster are capable of developing into guys that could play a role on a top 3 team in the summit

We’re in year 3 of Sather yet the product on the floor has gotten worse each year he’s been here. There are about 360 D1 teams and we are currently one of the 10 worst teams. We can blame the portal and players leaving but every team in the country has had to deal with that. We have not utilized the portal to help build our roster. Moving forward we got Bruns, Treysen looks to be a good recruit, I think Mathew’s should be decent given some time, and I think Norman could play a role for a decent team. Everyone else we will see I guess. If anymore spots open up I hope we can utilize the portal and get some high impact guys like other teams seem to find. At the end of the day I’ll keep watching and supporting hoping for some different results but it’s just kind of sad to see where we’re at at the moment

Tuff way for this one to end. Man they played hard and competed. We got a good one in Bruns

15 and 7 at the half. I’d say easily been best player on the floor. Gotta hold on to him for 3 more years

1st year under Sather win a couple of unexpected games in March with Jones guys, last year take a step back, this year we have taken a major step back. Ranked 343 in NET rankings. Just sad

I guess I just don't understand what the vision was/is for this team. We are extremely undersized in the backcourt and wing spot. We may be the most unathletic D1 team in the country. We're forced to take a bunch of contented 3s because we don't have anyone that can break down the defense and get to the hoop consistently. Theres no one that can create a shot for themselves or a teammate off the dribble. Overall this team is just offensively challenged and you're not going to win many games in 2021 scoring in the mid 60s. I just think its frustrating that the team in Sathers first year would beat this team by 10+ and they basically only played 6 guys

That was embarrassing Good news is that Bruns will be very good if we can keep him for 4 years. Bad news is that he’s the only one on the roster that can somewhat create their own shot
