Bothun has 6 rebounds in 75 minutes this season while shooting 1/17 from the field…. It’s less than ideal to have jones playing 17 minutes a night but it’s the best we can do

And his job as the starting center is to eat up minutes and be physical. Guga averages more minutes per game than him so the starting label is irrelevant. The only other option is Bothum, who outside of one NAIA game is 1-17 from the field and offers nothing defensively

Agree until you got to the Marley part. He’s only averaging 10 minutes a game in conference play so it’s not like they’re force feeding him minutes. Hes still probably the best option to pickup back up minutes at the 4 spot. The same thing goes for Jones. Someone has to play minutes at the 5 and you can’t play Guga 40 minutes a night and there’s no one at the 4 that can play small ball 5. It’s fine if he averages 5 fouls a game. They just can’t be 3 illegal screens and 2 fouls 80 feet from the basket

I wouldn’t say Delorme was being lazy. He got subbed in and had to box out St Thomas starting center on a free throw. Giving up probably 30 pounds and got pushed under hoop. Ball went off his foot out of bounds and then he got subbed out
