Agree with that. However the strength of schedule factor, whatever form that takes, has to favor UND. Eastern school strength (in BC's schedule particularly) not too impressive.

I doubt that matters much. He's top tier and it helps that he showed that off in the World Juniors.

Caulfield has both goals and 21 for the season. Pretty sure that locks the Hobey for him.

After the Sioux win at Omaha coupled with BC losing, UND will be #1 in both college hockey polls. Looking good for that #1 seed heading into the Final 16.

If they lose next weekend I think they need to win two in the NCHC tournament to get in.

League officials need to sit this dude for 2 or 3 games. That was a gutless cheap shot, delivered to cause injury. If the Sioux face DU again in the playoffs he should have a target on his back.

But they focused on D and gave up only 7 shots on goal the last two periods. I like the ability to do what's needed to win when you're not sharp. I think shaking up the lines tonight caused some confusion.
