I’m going with Omaha over Denver.

Gotta go with Western over Duloot, setting up an exciting match with the boyz in the semis. I see St. Cloud vs Denver in the other semis game. Championship game: UND over St. Cloud.

UND will be the #1 seed in Fargo regardless of what happens in the NCHC tourney.

I’m hoping the boys play Friday. Frankly, they sucked last Friday and need the ice time going into the playoffs. Gooch, Pinto and Gaber need to up their games in order for this team to bring home #9.

Caufield may take the Hobey by unanimous vote. He’s that good.

There's no reason to think that whoever is ranked #1 nationally going into the Final 16 won't be the #1 seed. None. So yes, hopefully we win four more games and retain that #1 ranking. It doesn't mean everything, but it means a lot.

#1 nationally also means #1 seed in the Final 16 and last line change throughout the playoffs. I'd say that beats the hell out of a ham sandwich.

Scheel needs to be in the nets for a W. Put Thome in for an encore in the third if up 2 or 3 goals.

So they re-seed after the quarterfinals? I wasn’t aware of that.

The Dogs came out of the pod looking pretty good but since then have gone 8-6 with 4 of those wins against Miami. They are fortunate to be in the top 3. The best teams in the NCHC right now are UND, Western and St. Cloud, probably in that order. I put Duluth at #5.

Duluth looked sloppy and undisciplined last night, but St. Cloud was worse. A couple greasy goals early won the game for them. I see St. Cloud beating them next week for the #2 seed. Frankly Duluth is just not that good.

Very uninspired effort by the Clowns. Duluth got a couple greasy goals early then played clunky themselves. Overall pretty crappy effort by both teams. Sandelin looked pissed.

Dave Starman just said he thinks some NHL scouts should have a say in the 16 NCAA selections since they've seen all the teams. Interesting thought.

Yeah, UW has a lot of O skill but not seeing much at all with their D. I think in game against UW we'd have them bottled up in their defensive zone most of the night as long as we stay out of the box.
