I play "Stand Up and Cheer" everyday for my students here in Tennessee. They enjoy this song so much more than "Rocky Top." Have to teach my students what's important in life!

Have to love the arguments these pre-season articles/polls bring about! Is Elliott the best goalie in the nation...probably. Is Schneider the 2nd? Possibly but arguable. Schneider did surrender 5 goals to the Sioux in the semifinals, but anyone who watched the BC/BU matchup in the previous game saw him play pretty good. Of course, BC played a totally different game than what they played against BU the week before, so it's difficult to say that Schneider was that good. Did Miller rob Panzer for the Hobey? Many of us think so, but PCM will defend Miller in that he did have the stats to back up the right to win the trophy, and PCM makes good points. (I know that hasn't been brought up in this thread, but has been brought up numerous times in the past and it felt like it should be mentioned again ) Did Toews get short-changed in this pre-season prediction? Most of would think so. It will be fun to watch Toews and Oshie again this year, as well as Duncan, Kozek, and the rest of the players on the team. I personally think Toews will show everyone that they made the wrong choice on this prediction, but that's life in the world of preseason prediction. Let's celebrate that another season of college hockey is among us! Go Sioux!!!

I agree. I think they're going to give him a shot to begin the season with. Obviously, if he doesn't perform well, he'll head to Lowell, but I think they're looking for a good two-way player, and they're liking what Zajac has to offer.

I don't remember Vanek pouting or losing his temper, but then again, I didn't pay much attention to him off the ice. I remember him being a one-way player, doing circles around the blue line waiting for the defense to get him the puck (similar to Bochenski prior to Parise's arrival). However, Vanek did (and still does) rise for the big game, and makes his team that much better. To stay on topic, I would agree that there is a big difference between the willingness between Toews and Kessel of wanting to play the puck on the boards, or by the big defensemen.
