  1. Another shortie against...damn.
  2. PP Sioux
  3. I can't help but think about the rest of his career, let alone next season when looking at that picture.
  4. Here come the make-up calls!
  5. Yeah, it's like he thinks the whole world is watching and he has to bring everyone up to speed.
  6. 2-1 Sioux end 2. SOG 25-15 in favor of Sioux.
  7. I'm not either, but he is the 13th forward after all.
  8. Iron unkind!!
  9. 2-1 Sioux
  10. The sad thing is I like Jim as a Color Commentator and Sweeny's dragging him down!
  11. Duncs 2-1
  12. YES
  13. I really wish Sweeney would shut up about what's on the big screen...
  14. Justin Duuuuuuuberman
  15. You're spot on. There were a couple of times where if he would have just made himself a little "bigger" he may have stopped a couple more. He looks tight right now, and he's getting beat an awful lot short-side and by some squeakers.
  16. They showed us how to screen the goalie. They could have showed the Badger goal replays...
  17. Can someone tell me why they need to do an on-ice demonstration for the fans of the "State of Hockey?" Don't they already know?
  18. Wes Dorey
  19. So what this says to me is that the Sioux are already in the Pioneer heads and DU is going to change how they play in order to match up. Let's hope the Sioux can take advantage while DU is distracted by trying to be physical and score a couple early to really get 'em rattled! GO SIOUX!!
  20. Calder & Henderson also come to mind...
  21. Lee Goren, hands down. He was a gamer & wasn't afraid to get the "ugly" goals in front of the net. My second choice would have been Roche.
  22. I'd say the most recent example is Karl Goehring. He was brought in after Schweitzer's freshman season ('97 championship), and ultimately ended up with the starting job 1/3 of the way into the following season. Schweitzer was "the man" after his freshman season, but it just goes to show you can never be certain.
  23. Smart people don't need to study!
  24. So what you're saying is Walski should be given a chance to play, or to use one of your terms, is ENTITLED to start due to the work he's put in over the years; but Eidsness shouldn't be ENTITLED to start because he's only a freshman regardless of the results on the ice. Gee, I get it now...
  25. That's why they brought Greico in a couple years back, but he left the team and thus we have Walski as our backup this year and not 3rd string. It was Walski's choice to join the team. If he thought his situation was so bad, he could have left under his own free will and pursued playing time elsewhere. He didn't. 'Nuff said. PS. Who are you to say his college career was a "waste?"
