Kasey Moreland would be great to see here. He's got good side-to-side, quick feet and an awesome glove. He has good stats for Sioux Falls, which is a bad team, high save pct. He sees lots of shots with no defense in front of him ond would excel with a good team. Let's bring a GF goalie here and actually let him play!

Matt and Drew are both trying to walk on this year, good luck to both. I would like to see Mcintyre try as well, but he may get an offer from UND to come here in another year. Those three would make a pretty good line together.

The Morelands will not go to SCSU, Jake had a major problem with Dahl, to the point of almost quitting. Look for guys like Mcintyre, the Moreland's, Sando, Marto, and the Lamaroux's(?) to get a chance here. Matt M would be a great fit here cause of his size, Mcintyre has as much heart and desire as he does skill, Sando is just like Moreland, big and skilled, Marto may have more upside than any cause he may be the most skilled defensman ND has ever seen, and the Lamaroux's live hockey, the whole family, they are all exceptional players and I hope to see them in Sioux attire in the next few years!!

San Jose is the best team in the West! Aside from that, they are outplaying Colorado. Detroit might not even beat Calgary, although I still think they will. SJ is a young team with tons of speed and just as much talent. Nabokov has been the biggest difference, he's gotten into the heads of the Av's players and they just can't beat him. Philly is my pick to win it all, but they are gonna have to beat TB first, which will prove to be quite a task. Last night I really saw a resiliancy in TB that makes them especially dangerous in the playoffs. CLUTCH!!! I think Philly has what it takes to get the job done. Goaltending has been stellar, they are scoring timely goals, and they already beat the defending champs!! I'm probably going to say...Philly over SJ in 6!! Go Roenick!!

Philly over San Jose in 6. SJ will beat Det in 6, and Philly will beat TB in 6. Wow thats 666,...Yikes... SJ IS the best in the west (Detroit included), and Philly finally seems to have goaltending and scoring. Plus Jeremy Roenick is gonna finally win a Cup, he's the man. Robert Esche has been great, and even if he isn't, they have Sean Burke too!! I'm not a Flyers fan , mind you, but that's what I think.

I know some people who are offended by this. They are mostly people who have served our country in some kind of armed force. I see their point, and Jackson's as well. I don't personally say that, I sing the entire anthem with whoever is singing it. (I specifically remember when the mic wasn't working and the whole crowd sang the anthem together, that was moving.) The anthem itself, if you think of what was going on when it was written, is an extremely emotional song. I am not offended by "Home of the Sioux, but I can see why people would be. My take, it will continue, as it did in Duluth this year, (man was that loud!) and it will never be an issue.

TC or streaky, How do I get to a gopher site to read this stuff and post there?? I'd like to hear what is going on in Gopherland!! (And maybe post a little bit of stuff there.)

Agreed that I would lofe to see us play the Gophs in the FF, but the IDIOTS who make the brackets won't be happy until they give the east their chance to get in the championship game. Why would you have the two #1's from the east on one side and two #1's from the west on the other? It's stupid that UND and UM can't meet for the title, but the WCHA will win again whoever it is!! GO SIOUX!!!

Some of the bashing of Vanek is cause we don't like the Gophs, but Ive seen the guy play 9 times in person and a bunch more on TV. He IS a great player offensively. He DOES has a great nose around the net. DUUHHHH! I don't like him cause every time I see him play he is takin little cheapies at other players who are skating past him with the puck. He is always trying to put a blind hit on someone who took the puck from him earlier that period. BOOO HOOO!!! Suck it up you little BABY!!! If you think I'm wrong, you need to watch him sometime!! I've tried to keep a constant eye on him while he is on the ice, but I lose him all the time cause he isn't always giving it all out there. Then there he is spearing, slashing,cross checking, and whatever else he can do as you skate by him on your way down the ice. I don't like Vanek because he is a cheap, one demensional player who will be pulling a Bertuzzi in future years after he gets the puck stolen from him again!!

Vanek was just ticked cause he had just got SMOKED by Parise. I'm sure Doug Woog, ever the Gopher apologist, made it look like Parise RAN Vanek, though, and it was an accindent, right!!! Vanek, the GOPHER LOAFER, is a cheapshotter who CAN'T and WON'T play defense. He has great offensive sense, but he just waits for Koalska to feed him at the red line where he hangs out, while his teammates plat DEFENSE in the DEFENSIVE zone. Yes Tomas there is such a place!!

I posted a massage a while ago saying that Maine could go all the way. WRONG!! I can see clearly now the NCAA tourney is here. Maine cannot score! Seriously!! Has anyone seen their last 4 games scores? 2-1, 3-2, 1-0, & 2-1! All one goal games, and against Merrimack and BU, come on, you gotta do better than that! I'm sorry if I led anyone to believe that they could win it all, they might not even make it to the Frozen Four. Wisconsin is in their bracket, NOTE: they have great goaltending too! AND they scored 4 goals once!! HA HA HA Minnesota, Rolling now. Yikes, Right...Wrong they beat the Sioux in front of a home crowd at e the Exel Center. I was there and the Gophs had a big advantage in that way. On different turf they will not beat the Sioux, and furthermore in a best of three they could not win two. Credit them for winning a Grreat game last Sat, but they will probably lose to UND in the Frozen Four, so no Three peat at the Fleet (copyright, PA&DUBAY) for them. Brandon where have you been? Thank you for comeing back to your goalscoring self last weekend!! That line was great all weekend and dominated most of the time. Parise was again the best player on the ice both games, so that hasn't changed any. Even without the Broadmoor trophy we are picking up speed coming into the NCAAs. A tweak here and there on Defense and no more wraparound goals and we're golden... Right to our 8th title!!

The Gophers swept a team on the downside since December...CONGRATULATIONS!!! And now they are gonna win the NAT'L championship??? Three weeks ago they were not gonna do anything!! What gives? What abuot the Sioux? We just beat MICH TECH FOUR STRAIGHT!!! If that doesn't say championship, I don't know what does!! The Sioux goalies have been great this year! (one bad game each in Wisc, not bad!) But, the best goalie in the Final Five is Issac Reichmouth. The SIOUX TWO are good too, but Reich is just better....unless the Dogs have to play the Sioux!!! Without playing the Sioux, his GAA and winning pct would be way better....then again, what goalie's wouldn't? Look for the Sioux to give up the least goals in the tourney with the best goalie-defense combonation!! By the way, question mark, ?Kellen Briggs? not solid, still needs to prove he is a clutch guy. If the team plays up, he just has to be OK. He cannot win them a game without help! King is the man on a bad team (UAA) his defense ain't good enough. He has to be perfect for them to win. McIlheney is good, and CC is on a bit of a roll. Duluth,...Enough said! Great team if they don't play ND!

I got free tickets for winning the dance contest during last years championship game, so I didn't get to pick where I sit. I think like 204 or 205 Row 1. But free is cool so I can't complain!! SIOUX WIN THE BROADMOOR, BABY!!!

They must have seen him play this past weekend.. HA HA Ballard is a great defensman but i would not rather see anyone crumble in a weekend more than him... except the Gopher Loafer, Vanek! Listening to the two idiot commentators Mazzaco and the Wooganator makes me hate the Chokers even more. What a couple of pure homers! If the other teams goalie makes an awesome save, it's "And Vanek couldn't get it up on him!" If the other team shoots it into the chest of Briggs, it's "And briggs makes s spectacular chest save!" What a couple of goons, they make me laugh! Anyway Ballard is good, too bad the Gophs are gonna get toasted in the NCAA's with the goaltending and defense they have displayed as of late!!

Someone needs to bring Ellsworth some sunblock, so the back of his neck doesn't get sunburnt from the goal light!!! Time for Bochenski's goal scoring to not be so skimpy. He needs to step up so we can win the Broadmoor Cup! If BO sits idle we might not win an 8th title! 8th title looks good right now!!! GO SIOUX!!!

Obviously we all know the SIOUX are going to win it all, but who else can go all the way to the Frozen Four? BOSTON COLLEGE scares me a little. They have great team speed and solid D, (1.89 GA) kinda reminds me of a certain team I like. They seem to be a clone of the Sioux, although I believe the Sioux are better in most aspects of the game. Great playmaking forwards are what make a team like BC very dangerous. Solid goaltending also. (Matti Kaltiainen 1.69 GAA .912 save%) MAINE is probably the only team I worry about really. They are HOT. Fresh off beating BC, they have strung together a great second half. Goaltending and Defense...HOLY COWS. 1.61 GA per game Goalies are Frank Doyle (.924 save% 1.83 GAA) and Jim Howard (.952 save% 1.18 GAA) OUCH!! But such is the East, so they have not seen a team like the Sioux!! (more explosive offensively and strong defensively) Then there's a team who has seen the Sioux 5 times this year. (I got to see all 5, The SAAWEEEP in Duluth was sweet!) Duluth is a very talented team who can beat anyone in the country....EXCEPT FOR THE SIOUX!!! The Golden Chokers aren't going to do SQUAT in the tourney. Their goaltending is in shambles (i.e. Kellen Briggs stinks right now!) and their defense has been subject as of late. (plus thier coach has a mullet!) BYE BYE RODENTS!! Can Denver, Wicsonsin, New Hampshire, or Michigan get there? Probably not, but who knows. That's what I love about college hockey!! GO SOIUX ALL THE WAY TO AN 8TH TITLE!!!!!!
