Yeah , we retired it in 2016 I believe right? Maybe 2015? Not sure why, I think it was meant to just be the final nail in the coffin towards the Sioux logo since people considered these synonymous with each other and shared imagery. We should bring it back -AT LEAST as the secondary.

Agree. It really paid off and suited us well at for the season. Now we need to keep that alive and all those younger skaters have a whole year under them of more experience, along with a year of skating together to work on chemistry. We have a lot of the first year issues knocked out for a good chunk of the team. I think we will be a force to be reckoned with this year. Along with that, you have a lot of the covid year super seniors now gone at schools like Western Mich. where they had some old men out on the ice lmao.

We have a lot of good talent, and upperclassmen coming back and some amazing new talent. Considering how far we went last year with certain key players missing from the ice and all the hick-ups/offensive woes/Saturday night bummers we had.. I think this is going to be a great year for some North Dakota Hockey! Let's hang a banner!!

I think the fact that we all as fans argue about this so much, really just shows and means that we ALL have a lot of pride for our teams. And that's a good thing. We are a small, but die hard fan base and that's awesome.

I use the eye-test as well, I definitely disagree. Everyone wears Sioux jerseys. Classics, knock offs, 2010 style etc. I barely see any Hawks gear - except from some newbies to the scene maybe. I am not calling you a liar, but last time I was there - just last season, I noticed the exact opposite of your observation... who knows. Boo fighting HAwks BOO. I guess I was at the Ralph, no idea about the alerus. You are probably correct about the Alerus. I think once of the issues here also, is just that hockey as a sport and the fans are just more into traditions and things like that vs a lot of other sports.

Exactly. People are still trying to buy ones through third parties and online sellers lol. They are in demand. Nobody wants a hawks jersey and if you think they do.. then you are out of touch with the majority of the hockey fan base. Sorry. You can like it, I can not like it.
