This year will be better than last year, and last year wasn't even bad. Target Center gets no love, but it works just fine as a hockey venue. It's all about watching UND, with thousands of UND fans. I don't care where they play! See you all at the Pourhouse!

For anyone on the fence, GO to this. It is a ton of fun, 80% UND fans, the NCHC does a great job. Year two will be even better after they look at what worked and didn't. If you are into pregame parties, UND fans took over The Pourhouse last year. Assuming the party will be here again. This place has a ton of room in it, not like you are packed in like the bars in St Paul before the old Final Five. Marriott City Center will be all green, super close to Target Center and bars and restaurants.

To the students and fans who dared to chant last night and defy a university president who openly voices his disdain at anyone who says "Sioux" around his section, my hats off to you. Care to elaborate on this? Makes my blood boil.

This is a good point. UNO has been focused on UND for 2 weeks with their bye. They are calling it the biggest home series ever. UNO is not used to situations like this, UND is. I could totally see UND jumping on them early, getting the large UND crowd into it!

My thoughts on the Omaha Mavericks "biggest home series ever": This is UND's time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great hockey team the UNO MAVERICKS have. Screw 'em. Screw Dean Blais! This is Hak's time. SIOUX SWEEP.

Take a drink each time the gopher broadcast crew talks about the national rankings. Take two drinks if they mention Minnesota used to be the consensus number one team. I have been doing this, and will be blacking out soon.
