Yeah, it definitely costs more money to stay here. They could have saved money by staying at the casino and renting the TRF REA. Personally, I would have let them rent the REA.....Olympic ice that is. I would pay the trumpet guy to play during some of the practices, and put Chucky and his one man band in there the rest of the time.

How can you claim to be a WCHA fan without recognizing the rules regarding fighting in the WCHA? It is a very bad thing to fight, but will be done in extreme circumstances.

I think Parise should be considered over Bochenski. Parise is always involved in the play, even without the puck. Bochenski has been invisible since those stupid posters came out. Maybe he is being blackmailed by someone.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that saw that. The phantom call on Prpich when he was getting hit from behind was the other mistake of the night. Otherwise, a pretty good game. Saturday could have ended up with a lot of fights with Mason's poor officiating.

I realize that it can't technically be considered, but a UND player could have said that he saw it didn't go in. The ref would probably listen to him, no matter how the UND player got the info.

I still believe that CB should have sent a player over to say that the second goal should not count. That is a cheap way for the momentum to change. I realize we have had our share of goals taken away, but it still would have been the classy thing to do.

Now is a great time to take notice of the classy fans on this forum that are cheering for other schools. The classy ones are still here talking about hockey, maybe even offering us praise. The trolls are gone and are just waiting for some type of failure. Thanks to all the classy fans, including the UND ones, that make this forum great.

Penalties should be called any time of the game, including OT. They just need to be called consistently through the game and for both sides. Of course the odds of that happening are as good as Kupchella getting cheers at a UND hockey game.

There is no way to show that the stupid comments made by Blais worked. How do you know he didn't play better because of all the support he got on this forum? In the poll created on who to use down the stretch, 75% said Brandt. Plus, who said he is really playing better? I think the rest of the team is playing better, which is has no problem pointing out. One mistake and he was an awful goalie? J Par has not been as good as Brandt this year. But he is a frosh, so he has time to improve. Back to the point, the team was playing poor for a while and Blais was honestly not doing a good job as a coach. He threw out a scapegoat and it was totally wrong. To now look back and give him credit for his comments is a horrible thing. Even if Don did the exact same thing, which he didn't, it wouldn't make it right.

I believe the last two are the most important to get. All of these demands make us sound like Gopher fans.

I agree with Bigmrg, you need to get over it NorthStar. Even in Grand Forks more people associate hockey with Detroit than any Minnesota city. Detroit is Hockeytown and they have the largest following around the U.S.

Thanks as always PCM. I knew he would play J Par again, but I would have liked some confirmation that he will ride Brandt when it counts. It is too bad Blais didn't offer any real suggestions for the atmosphere. Talking about the Badger fans hints at the students standing, but it would have been great if he said that explicitly.

I think Foyt should play in both games. Let's see if he is still as good as earlier in the season when people weren't paying attention, or if he has lost it after not playing much.
