And that is really all that matters around here

There was a contingent (on POI and USCHO) that did little else than rip on Parise (the Ha**y group comes to mind), not that it affected him. Nor will fans here ripping on Kessel affect him. I've seen Kessel once, vs Russia on Christmas Day in the WJC. I've never posted my opinion of his play in that one game, when he was not yet committed to anyone, and the Sioux were listed as in the mix (even though few of us believed that to be true). I did pay particular attention to him in that game because of all the message board hype (and the constant bickering among Gopher, Badger, and Wolverine fans) that went on at the time. At any rate, too late to post it now, since he is a Gopher and anything negative might be construed as ripping on him

Don't believe any games in the L. McFadden are being televised anywhere, on any network or dish. The only choices this weekend appear to be SLU vs Wisco (Fox Sports North alternate) or Quinnipiac vs Michigan (CSTV) on Friday night, and Bemidji vs Duluth on a local station in the Duluth/Bemidji area on Saturday night.

I thought it was his mom At any rate, I don't think the ragging on Kessel, like the ragging on Parise for two years, will disappear anytime soon.

Link opens the video for me in Windows Media Player, both video and sound.

There are a few floating around. Best freshmen class ever, and the reason I'm not ready to say any freshmen class, or several members of it, can't step in and be both productive and successful in their first year.

Video Stream from Sunday's Dale Lennon Show Finally available on the WDAZ web site.

College Hockey TV Schedule Although there will probably be additions (the WDAZ/FSSN road series at MDU and UAA, for example), the above is a good composite schedule for all college hockey on TV somewhere, especially good for directv and dish owners with the sports pak add-on. Game start times appear to be local, however, so that will be a bit confusing.

Thought they had today and tomorrow to set line-ups. Heard on a preseason telecast that, under the new agreement, any one-way players with guaranteed NHL contracts, if not kept with the NHL team, have to be put on waivers, which could mean teams with less than the full complement of 50 players under one-way contracts may be looking to pick up some of these players. Matt Jones was assigned to San Antonio.

After nine coronas, everyone looks like K. Lee.

And it looks like a cell phone in the other hand; some kind of Clinton thing going on here?
-
There was just one reference to one of the Sioux that did not play, a dinged hand, not sure I remember correctly but I think it was Marvin.

DQ warrants missing the next game, misconduct just gets you removed the the remainder of the game. Appears the referee didn't overreact to the scrum. The Manitoba instigator (a spear by Smith) didn't get any penalties.

Absolutely. First though we have to find Dirty

I believe he realizes that only "faces for radio" reside there
-
Not sure, but Sweeney mentioned it twice during yesterday's broadcast, that they will be making trips to Duluth and UAA, and will televise those series.

I've watched several video streams from various places, both free and pay for. All, except dataflix, have worked well. Some of the non-dataflix freebees limit the number of users before shutting out everyone else, but if you're on in time they work well. Don't know where this "dataflix" is based, but you'd think the REA would have changed providers by now, unless they own dataflix? They have to be losing subscribers by the boatload based on their ineptness. They got all of the money they're going to from me over the last couple years.

Although not on the schedule, FSSN will televise road game weekends at Duluth and UAA.
-
3, or is it 4 years, and they still haven't figured out how to run a webcast.
-
I though it would take at least until 5000 or so

That's good to hear, it's impossible to locate a lineup, and have to look at box scores to see who shows up (scoring, penalties). Did he play with Spezza and Heatley again? Noticed that Eaves and Spezza had assists, I believe, on the same PP goal, so I guessed that maybe Eaves was playing with Spezza.
-
USA Today article Don't believe Bo was in the Ottawa lineup last night. Spezza and Heatley did not put up the points they have in previous games, with Bo on the wing. Eaves was in the lineup, not sure if he was in instead of Bo or if both have played in previous preaseason games.

Discussion on devilsrule is that 51 is a preseason (training camp) number, and he'll likely get a different available number, maybe 9, when the season starts.
-
Zach and Gionta looked very good together tonight vs. the Rangers. Zach got the first NJ goal, a PP on a deflection of a Martin shot from the point. Zach, once again, 1st star, 2 for 2. Can't imagine there is any way he won't make this team. He played for the most part on line 3 with Gionta and Kozlov.

He could be one of those 25 year old "overaged" Canadians Guess we can ignore where TJ stands on the BCHL scoring list. Time for the Sioux to sew up a future BCHL recruit so we have someone to follow this year.
