  1. The Michigan goalie was horrible. And the WCHA didn't fare too well out east.
  2. Zach gets into a tussle late in tonight's game; looks like some bigger NJ guys came in to help him out.
  3. Was the live bookmark functionality lost in the disk failure?
  4. 775-5565
  5. Zajac has moved to #2 in BCHL scoring with 41 points in 24 games. Quinnipiac recruit Wong leads the league with 58 points in 29 games. Two BCHL goalies have moved in front of Cheverie in goalie stats, lead by Brian Stewart (who's this Thiessen guy, can't find him on the list). Edit: Found Thiesen, he's #12 on the list which is ordered by GAA. Thiesen does lead the league in save %.
  6. Tallackson showed up in the box score of a NJ game last week, believe he got a goal and assist in his first appearance. Not sure who he replaced or if he's still with the big club
  7. Blake Story
  8. Roger Lameroux, Alan Hangsleben, Steve Gasporini, Jim Cruise, etc, etc. Older than PCM
  9. Cornell should still be #1. THey finally played two games and won one of them

    Triplicates

I noticed beginning this morning it takes forever to get in to siouxsports.com. I can quickly get in to http://siouxsports.com/hockey/links.php#, however, then use the forums link. There is a hangup in posting, one never gets out after clicking "add replay", so I'd guess that the duplicates and triplicates are being caused by clicking that button multiple times. It seems that this works ok for me in IE, but the problem persists in firefox. Is there some recently changed code that firefox may be having a problem with? Could be those add popups attempting to come up? Edit: Seems that whatever you did has things back to normal again now (should have looked at your pm thread, DNS problem).

    Triplicates

Is everyone else seeing threads in triplicate?
  12. TV broadcast said "maybe" this weekend. Possible the coach's show will shed more light.
  13. Once again, Punkovich does his yapping from behind his teammates and in the paper. He's a tough guy there and when he's running goalies and hitting from behind. I'd guess he'd be a tough guy on message boards also.
  14. Pregame report, Trotter with a completely severed achilles.
  15. It's not on a directtv channel. FSSN is Fighting Sioux Sports Network, available on many cable networks in ND, and portions of SD and MN. Midcontinent Cable is the main provider. If the cable company where you're at does not provide it, you may be able to see it in a sports bar that has satellite capabilities.
  16. Careful. I hear a lot of 'sotas and 'sconnie's take sound shots in the woods. Over here it's ground balling roosters out the window of the suburban. A fine bunch of hunters they are.
  17. I already had the sports pack and was paying $12/month. Called and told them I'd heard someone added it for $12/month with a $10/month refund. Lady checked with somebody and said yes, it's an offer for a $10/month refund per month for 6 months. They said the refund would show up in my account next month and the next five after that. We'll see when the billing arrives.
  18. It may have to be at the west regional.
  19. What's with the faceoffs? Couldn't win one at UNH and won about 85% last night. Is UNH that good or Denver that bad? Denver D didn't handle the Sioux forecheck well at all. For all their offensive firepower they are not strong in the defensive end. They also resorted to tackling when pressured. Need to put the pressure on again tonight. They also ran an obvious interference early in the game, Sioux ringed the puck around the boards, a Sioux forward, I think (may have been a D), was waiting inside the blue line to take the puck, Denver forward kicked his feet out from under him from behind, took the puck, and started an oddman rush the other way. A Denver specialty, and they never ever get called for it. What an awesome forecheck by Porter, Oshie, and Toews. They were all over Denver on every full strength shift. Oshie looks like he's played at this level for a couple years. Lee and Chorney the same. Toews was looking at Chorney coming to the net when he roofed that shot - a no look goal. Unbelievably skilled. This freshman class may challenge the '82 version as the best ever. Thought both majors were warranted after watching the replays. Players need to realize that when Shep puts one team on the PP he'll make some very weak calls on the PP team. Can't do the weanie hooks when you're on the PP. The 5 minute majors virtually destroyed the Sioux flow. They didn't get it back until play went back to 5 on 5 in the third period. That had to be it, and it was Watkins. Couldn't believe that wasn't in the net. Save of the night by Fisher. Watkins had time to chip it up and over the pad, but had to think he had a wide open tap-in. Bet he won't make that mistake next time.
  20. yes
  21. Dumb penalties by the Sioux while Denver was serving both of their majors. Sioux did pick it up 5 on 5 over the last 5 minutes of the period. A couple of huge saves by Fisher. SCSU 3 Gophers 2 final

  23. They are dominating that much; score could be worse for Denver.
  24. Denver killed the 5 on 3 by holding and tackling. They've quickly reverted to the old Denver team when pressured. Even though Shep let them get away with the tackling on the PK, kudos to him for making the right call on running Parise. Sioux have been taking the body and winning the checking battles for the entire first period, Denver's answer to it is running the goalie. Does Gwoz coach this crap? Denver down to 9 forwards.
  25. Unfortunately, I'm a fair ways from GF and will have to watch the Wisco game from home. Guess the ML will have to wait
