I'd forgotten, until I recently watch it, that Tippet was injured and didn't play in the '82 championship game. I'd guess he'll land in another spot coaching, his record up to this year has been very good. As good as Wisco and ND(82) were that year, it is unbelievable to watch that game and compare it to the present. Lots of racehorse up and down hockey, but constant uncalled hooking and holding by both teams.

If, except for the college rules, Matt Greene could have dropped with Punko on the spot, the future Prpich spear would not have happened. and things would have been taken care of immediately. The fact that the Pen stars, Malkin and Crosby, resort to butt-end/elbows and viscious two handers was way over the top for me. What a total melt-down. While I wish both teams could lose, I've become more of a Wings fan for just this series.
