  1. If you're hearing Tim Hennesey, you've clicked the audio only link; click the other one. Webcast is available from the Sioux site also.
  2. theralph still lists it, I used to listen there, but haven't for a couple years. Apparently I couldn't if I wanted to.
  3. 64 adult, 30 kid, for all four games. (plus ticketmaster charges, whatever those are)
  4. http://www.fightingsioux.com/ViewArticle.d...TCLID=204812886 That list is a bit different than the one on the REA site; theralph site is apparently not up to date.
  5. http://theralph.com/asp/default.asp?p=49 Appears you'll have to be able to pick up a station from Grand Forks or Minot If none of those come in, 710AM in Bismarck reaches a long way around the state.
  6. You are correct. My Sioux login info works (for the free audio subscription), but, of course, I'll have to pay the monthly fee to watch the games.
  7. Appears they will be, for a price.
  8. Classic INCH:
  9. The gophers and their fans should be getting used to it.
  10. Friday - VV Saturday - Kristo
  11. FSSN from the Ralph is much better than this, although this is still good.
  12. Son of former Sioux Roger Lamoureux
  13. The FSSN will be picking up the Alaska GCI broadcast (normally on C band only), and broadcasting it via the FSSN transponder. Unlikely that FCS will pick this up. You'll have to head for a sports bar with KU band capabilities (Sensor's in the TC).

    Same satellite; same transponder.

    Yes
  16. You need to locate dallassiouxfan and his FTA system. Actually, there is one scheduled for this weekend at: You can find viewing parties in many cities here.
  17. On that basis, because of the ineptness of gopher football, the student body has been dumbed down significantly of late. Guess you could add the last two years of gopher hockey also.
  18. Shocker of the weekend was Maine getting swept by Union. Maine has apparently fallen far.
  19. Flush 'em
  20. 10-3 UCD Bison throw INT on first possession.
  21. On dishnetwork: 409 - UCD/USD 429 - NSDU/UNI
  22. There are two, "Fight on Sioux" and "75 Years of Fighting Sioux Hockey History". Not sure if either is still available. The first was published by the Grand Forks Herald in 2001 and has write-ups of each of the Sioux's 7 championships (by Virg Foss). The second is probably the one you remember, not sure if it still can be bought at the bookstore or REA.

http://www.fightingsioux.com/?DB_OEM_ID=13500 Free audio, $10 video, but you need to register for either.
  24. Genoway for Sat.
  25. If I were just starting, I'd get the motorized traxis 4000 with the easyfind lnb (323 shipped) or, if you just want to point at one satellite, the same system without the motor (249 shipped). You'll see both at the top of the list on the web site listed above by remington. Of course Forest Lake is probably near enough the TC to have Pete do the install if squirrel wants. The traxis 3500 systems, both motorized and fixed, work just as well, but, if you're doing it yourself, having the easypoint system looks like it would make things much easier (no TV or stb needed out in your yard or on your roof to point, or, worse yet, trying to point while talking to a second person on the phone inside your house watching the screen and relaying you info as you move your dish, which, I can tell you from personal experience, is a pita). Step by step instrucions for setting up an easyfind system. And, btw squirrel, the FTA receivers are digital, no extra box needed for getting the FTA channels, as is the case, if you don't have a TV with a digital tuner, with off air digital signals (= local broadcast that you can get with a normal antenna or rabbit ears).
