Lol. ESPN is abbreviating UNO as NEOM. Took me longer than I care to admit to piece that together

His role has changed this season. He is more of a playmaker instead of the scoring machine he was last year.
Yeah, he's 3rd in assists and 4th in points. Not saying he should win it but how is he not in the Top 10?

Wow some of you are terrible pessimists. You'd think this was the senior night of a winless season with the way some of you guys are talking. Game isn't over, and win or lose, they've played a good game especially after UMD got a bye. And furthermore they've played an amazing season, plus this group of guys were real contenders last year as well. Lets stay positive.

I think the announcer got this one right. Clean hit, just a bad angle for the ref.

Minnesota State beats Quinnipiac in OT keeping my perfect bracket going.

try pressing the x on the screen. close any pop ups to get back and press the x again. Then it should let you press the play button. Good luck. Lets go Sioux!
This worked for me

Why did UND suck so bad if they were getting all these great recruits? Hmmm

UND I'd say was 2 years to late at firing their coach.
Yeah, I think coaching was a big part of why they weren't more successful.

I'm certainly no UNO fan, but I'd love to see them take out UMN tomorrow.
Having zero B10 teams advance past the first round would make me smile. It would ruin my bracket, but it would be worth it

Well that's a terrible final quarter.

It's a crazy year to be sure.
I think the president did the right thing and here's why. MM was old enough to know better when he did those things. Since then, he has shown no remorse about it until a court ordered him to apologize. I would totally be on his side and willing to give him a shot ay redemption if he admitted fault and apologized on his own at any point over the last 4 years but he didn't.
His parents are no gems either. In fact, they are arguably worse for enabling and supporting such behavior.
Good riddance and enjoy the KHL or whomever wants to deal with his racisms and toxic parents.

Admittedly they have hit a bit of a slump after a great start. Probably time to fire the Coach of the Year again.

I did. You just can't count.

This thread is appropriately named.

The CCHA makes more sense, but theoretically couldn't St Thomas and LIU save the WCHA if they both joined?
-
Honestly with how little it was used I'm surprised it last this long.

I wonder what the logistics would be if the NCAA just made exceptions to the schedule length and just allowed hockey, and possibly other fall sports, to have a shorter season that starts in January?

This x 1000!
We are in the SEC of College Hockey right now. Why would we leave to join a conference where hockey is third on campus and sometimes lower?
We are but Big 10 potentially offers log term benefits and name recognition to other sports. However the devil is in the details. Hockey wise, UND would almost certainly lose money in the near term, so what does UND gain as a whole by switching?
I don't think it will happen but time will certainly tell.

Not sure if this is addressed elsewhere and I just missed it, but the Gophers are pushing for Big Joke expansion again.

UConn is being forced to cut 25% or more of it's athletic budget, which will include cutting of teams. It appears both M&W ice hockey are safe, but nothing is known for sure until the final decision. Good article on how a squandered move from FCS to FBS played a factor

I'm going to go out on a limb and say their basketball teams are safe too.

I find it promising that people were willing to come together to fund what was important to them. I hope more schools will look at the option of a straightforward and honest funding campaigns like this one in the future.

There wasn't anything at club at all. The women's team was announced as LIUBrooklyn and the just used LIU with all games at Islanders facilites or Uniondale. Seems like the Islanders took over and gave ice time and supplies to LIU-Post. The Islanders got nearly a billion to construct their new Belmont arena from NY state and are trying to repopularize themselves by using LIU Think the NHL has made a repriority for their franchises to sponsor a college team. Lindenwood in St Louis and Clarksville near Nashville with Austin Peay may be next ones up
A college team in StL would have support. Especially if they do it on the coattails of the Blues

Well...sounds like a future AHA team to me. If not, I'm sure the 2021 WCHA will take anyone

We can't buy a penalty in OT. I guess the Bulldogs are all saints
