Wow, this is complete BS. Compare that to the crap that Duluth East or St. (fill in the blank) pull in Minnesota. I would be pi$$ed if this were my team. I hope the really kill some folks in the playoffs.

Maybe many reasons, but here is mine. It's a four year school that is 1/2 an hour from UND and really offers nothing unique. Meanwhile a different city in Minnesota is the largest city in the U.S. without a dedicated 4 year university (and the 2nd biggest metro area in Minnesota). Serious misallocation of funding.

The best part is that this was a cobranding campaign with the Minnesota State Colleges (MSU, SCCC, and BSU) as part of the entry you had to say which of the three teams schools you like the best. I love that the winner isn't a fan of any of the three. I will need to get a big Fighting Sioux flag incase I'm in the suite with Dr. Saito.

Interesting comment. I have noticed that some schools (Big 10 and Boston) tend to fill up on recreuits earlier than the Sioux. This can be good or bad. The good is that most of the best players are these early recreuits. The bad is that some players are 3-4 years from college and may fall off in performance or decide the WHL is for them. Anyway there is no such thing as a signed recruit until there is a LOI.

OK, I was not pleased when I didn't get my tickets. BUT, I just got off the phone with Charter Media and learned that I won 2 suite (sweet) seats, airfair, and hotel for 2 to the the Frozen Four in Milwaukee (where the Sioux will win #8). This made my morning... And yes, for those of you wondering, I did tell my wife. I'll see all you loyal fans at the games.
