To be honest I'd rather have a captain that knows how to lead a team and makes sure his guys win games like these so we don't even have to talk about what he says. I can't remember one post game interview from 2016 now that I think about it.

Absolutely not. I never want a coach or any player to lose their media etiquette and for sure NEVER want to see them throw anyone under the bus. In this current situation I was hoping for both the coach and the captain to take blame for this horrible showing and act and sound like it was completely unacceptable and that they were pissed about it. But they were not at all in any way. I was expecting and hoping for them to be so emotional and mad that you could tell they were barely holding onto their composure of not cursing and smacking microphones out of their face. I wanted Berry to mention that this week in practice was going to be hell and that the boys better be prepared to get the sioux hockey beat back into them. But instead I heard ho hum and I'm proud of this team, which made me want to see that C ripped off his jersey and Berry kicked out the door. Their attitudes during those interviews matches up perfectly with how they play. Okay with losing as long as no ones feelings get hurt. Good ole boys club

He may have exaggerated by saying asses kicked, but a complete game involves the most important thing which is scoring. I thought poolman was an idiot for saying that. They got a few dumb penalties, lost some important face offs, struggled in the neautral zone annnnnd...didn’t bury the damn puck. They didn’t even produce many odd man rushes or set many prime scoring chances. So I disagree it was their most complete game in many ways even if you oddly don’t count burying the puck.

I also feel like the business suits have been ruined. Reasoning: First off, having to pull those out against a 50th ranked team was comical to me. It honestly took the seriousness away from the jerseys and from this team having to use them against such a lowly opponent in a joke of a rink. Was it really that tough of an opponent and in that hostile of an atmosphere?! What a waste of a usage. I can’t believe they even made the trip. Second off, despite the saddest time and place to feel the need to use the suits...they LOST in them. To CANSIUS!! The UND hockey culture is slipping away. Check out the down fall of Maine hockey, it’s oddly similar to what’s happening now.

Is anyone else pissed that the coaches and players don’t seem pissed? I thought I was mad after the 2nd loss but that doesn’t even compare to how pissed I was after I heard Berry’s comments and the captains comments. This accepting loser attitude reminds me of the attitude of losing coaches and players on losing teams...not UND hockey attitude. Being use to it and okay with it is not what I was expecting to hear after the worst sweep in recent UND history. It’s like they didn’t even realize it was that bad. The coach is okay with it, the captain is okay with it...and now the team will be okay with it. Sooooo since it’s not a big deal in their eyes, I wonder what will happen now? Loser culture = losers = losses. Also, this complete game BS is a JOKE. Playing a complete game and losing By one to a top tier team or conference rival is one thing but losing not one but two nights in a row to a team that shouldn’t be able to stay within 5 goals of any NCHC team is unacceptable. That’s not puck luck, that’s a poor team playing with a loser mentality...that’s a team okay with losing to anyone. They should’ve been more scared to lose Saturday night than anything in the world and should be dreading practice on Monday but they obviously weren’t and they’re not. They got a pat on the back from their buddy berry and will “dig in” by running the same drills and apparently ineffective PP schemes. They’ll be running around bonzers and Joe blacks just like any other week. Win or lose we hit the booze. This team will finish below .500, mark my words. The attitude made that prediction clear as day for me. No urgency no panic...no anything. Those are the emotions that bring change. Mellow disappointment and being proud of each other isn’t

Worst Und team in the past 30 years?

I’d argue the constant comments of having no finishers. We have a few, but we’re mainly missing the playmakers who help get those finishers into scoring position. No one sets each other up. I’ve never seen so many pointless passes and amateur hour shot attempts. May we well just hand them the puck instead of wasting time with some of these low percentage shots

Agreed, but I only mentioned a win because another loss or even a tie would surely drag them to a spot of no return in the pairwise. A win won’t have a positive effect

If they win tomorrow, a lot of things could still happen in the pairwise for UND to still slip into the tourney with a hand full of more losses....BUT they won’t need to worry about that because I bet my salary on them losing more than a small hand full. Sadly and honestly I think tomorrow’s game is a 50/50 win. That’s how poor these guys are. If they lost tomorrow I’d like to see berry gone and Jackson take over for the remainder of the season. It’ll never happen due to a number of reasons, but any type of change would only help things right now. Any available squirt B coaches out there available to take over the PP squad?! I’d be open to that

Maybe last season wasn’t so bad. This is worse The typical fight and confidence UND used to have is completely gone. Getting pushed around and chasing around a very poor hockey school out east is the new und culture. The tables have turned 180 degrees in less than 5 years.
