North Dakota vs. Minnesota in Las Vegas - October 2018
AJS replied to fargosioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Should have charged more per ticket. Anyone have a book on Supply and Demand they could send to team think small? In all seriousness, what a blown opportunity to make the school some money. Especially in times where the athletic department could use it, somebody dropped the ball, big time. -

You can make an argument about the costs associated w/ each arena, but the MSG argument is really, really dumb, if you think that number would translate to Vegas. -

The University of Think Small strikes again. I just don't understand how they didn't foresee this. Someone said it earlier and they are right, this would have been the most demand for tickets in the University history. Let's play it at a 7,700 seat Orleans Arena...what a joke. -

UND thinking small? Never. They just can't get our of their own way, ever. -

I think it will be pretty close to regionals as well, a couple minutes and they are all gone. -

Predictions: How quickly will this sell out? -
Moorhead playing on Midco channel 596 at 7:30 for those who want to check out Frisch.

Just think if they would have redshirt Q, he was a freshman on the Senior laden Huff squad. Would be really nice having him as a junior this year.

Interesting! Let's go Northeastern and BC then!
-
That and Northeastern is in the 20's of the PWR.

Change Wilkie for Olson and I really like these lines. This bye week is coming at a really good time. Get the team healthy, get Jost / JJ back and see what they can do.
-
CHN shows #10 Edit: SS doesn't seem to take into account the game tonight.

You're the worst, are you Hajdu's twin? If people want to vent, let them vent.

Why is Billy Brown on the team?

I need to stop posting during games like the one last night. Still much too left of the season left to call it. Schlossman just posted about the next 3 games being key and could make or break their season. Let's get the W tonight, rest up, get Jost back and finish strong! Positives being they really haven't been that bad defensively, outside of ENG's, in the last two games they've only given up 1 legitimate, non-fluky goal. Just need to get a couple bounces for once.

It's the beginning of February and I've officially waved the white flag on the season. Did they get outplayed in their last two games? Not really, they just don't have it this year. Not much else to say. Some veterans really let the team down this year. I never would have thought you'd see Boeser, Poganski, Gardner and Ausmus play like they have.

Predictable, now just waiting for the 5 minute major on UND to top if off.

In 1 period.

These guys are shockingly bad at putting the puck in the net, have they ever been shut out back to back? What's so frustrating is it's not like SCSU is skating circles around them, UND just can't seem to do anything right. What worries me is if we think they are bad this year, just wait until next. They are going to be really, really bad.
-
These guys suck.
-
Will they score again this season?
-
I think everyone knows that you take high school stats with a large grain of salt, but here is how the UND recruits stack up. 2. Judd Caulfied (So) 16G 29A - 45P 5. Braden Costello (Jr) 19G 20A - 39P

Very, very annoying to read that over and over and over in every single one of his posts, when it just isn't true.

Correct, last year was rough at the beginning of the year (first 4 games or so). This upcoming year, I couldn't be more excited for the unit. No matter which way you slice it, you have 4 starters returning from a unit that gelled and played relatively well at the end of the year. Besides the 4 starters, you have 4 others that started at least a game. On top of that, you have a talented RS Freshman class (SFI guys said yesterday that Tobin / Nyguon will play next year for sure) and along with those 2, Tom Miller also said he's heard great things from Russo. Long story short, not only will they have experience next year, but depth also.
