CC in the last couple weeks just got verbals from Middendorf and Cruicshank. I'm not worried about down the road ('19 & on look good), or that this recruiting class is going to sink the ship, it's just more than any other one I can remember, this upcoming one really makes you wonder. Hopefully they'll surprise ('16 class for example has probably out performed how I thought they'd do).

Think Senkbeil was brought in as a D-man recruit, but had to play forward, because of the injury situation.

Were all three in the same class? Have you ever heard of a guy named Jonny Brodzinski? Didn't score much in Juniors, but is playing in the NHL! If you re-read my first post, it has nothing to do with any single member of next years class. I realize how important players like you mentioned are to the team. My frustration is with the number of maxed out players that are in next years class. Note: A lot of it is losing Gersich early, it's just such a big blow for next year. Just one year, it would be nice to be surprised with everyone coming back.

I just don't understand how a school like UND with all of it's advantages has to go this route.

The last sliver of hope I had that Gersich would be back is now gone. This isn't on any one of the many maxed out players that Berry is bringing in next year, since it's necessary to fill in the gaps, but I'd rather leave having over 1/2 your freshman class being 21 once they hit campus to the Bemidji's of the world.

Locks: Weatherby, Keane, Senden, Hain, Tychonick & Scheel All eyes are on Gersich from there, if he goes, they'll need 1 more forward.

Nothing, I kind of go back and forth with this one. I think this is one of those seasons where nothing ever falls into place. No adjustment is going to make a difference. UND will get going offensively, goaltending will be terrible, the next night solid goaltending, no offense. It’s absurd the games they continue to lose.

First year I’ve wished I could fast forward the season since as long as I can remember. The lack of confidence I have in this team is astounding. This team has no shot at making the playoffs.

They won 5 in a row going into the NCHC Championship game.

Here’s how I look at it, if this team only played 5 on 5 all year, would they be better or worse than their current record? Theres no doubt in my mind they’d have a better record, this team is losing more games than they are winning because of special teams. I’m looking at the coaching staff and not the talent.

If we only lose Wolanin (all eyes on Gersich), I think this team can be very good next year.

The team as a whole, I don’t think this team is that far away this year from being good this year, they just don’t have “it”. Basically the coin flip rule, they’ve lost a lot more than they’ve won this year.

Feel bad for the couple of people who thought they’d win tonight. Good news is they'll win tomorrow, won’t matter for the tourney though. No chance they make it.

Like the team next year, but the streak is over, this team has no shot at the tourney. Not talent level, this team just doesn’t have it. If it’s not one thing, it’s the other for this team. Johnson will be lock down tomorrow, will be terrible against Miami next Friday.

Next 20 minutes will tell me how the rest of the season will go.
