i have one of the jerseys that say NORTH DAKOTA across the chest from whenever they were forced to wear that style..thats my guess..god it would be sweet to have a great year and get on national tv with this crap going on and have the NC$$ listen to or fans chanting "lets go sioux" all fricken game

Greene, a rugged defenseman, signed with the Edmonton Oilers while Murray, the 2003-04 WCHA Rookie of the Year, elected to forgo his final two seasons of eligibility and sign with Rapperswil-Jona of the Swiss Elite League. As is usually the case in Grand Forks, North Dakota brought in some top recruits in forwards Jonathan Toews, T.J. Oshie and Andrew Kozek, and defenseman Brian Lee and Taylor Chorney. Travis Zajac (20-19-39), Drew Stafford (13-25-38) and Ratislav Spirko (16-21-37) will be counted on to produce some offensive firepower for the Fighting Sioux again this season. Senior Matt Smaby will be asked to lead a relatively young defensive unit, which also lost Andy Schneider, Nick Fuher and Matt Jones. Player to watch: Robbie Bina. The would-be junior defenseman just received clearance to skate after suffering a broken neck on an illegal hit during last season's WCHA Final Five. Bina will likely take a medical hardship year, but if can return late in the season, he could provide a big spark on the blueline.

i know madden from the devils wears #11. i noticed zach was wearing #51. is there a reason for this number? maybe his dad wore it or is it juts a random number since he is a rookie? anybody know??

matt jones survives another cut wit the coyotes. gretzky really likes him a lot! great for matt. im guessing there are 1 or 2 more cuts tops with only 3 preseason games left. he does not look to be in the lineup tonight unless there are some scratches at game time. chances are he will likely still be sent to san antonio to the AHL but then again maybe not!!

INCH is a funny site, also a funny list, i agree a dream team with a player that has not stepped on the ice is interesting, i hope Finley or Smaby smokes kessels a$$ the 1st minute we play the rodents..ok im done!

great to read, i believe the 1st half will be a period where the team will learn how to mesh together and the 2nd half will be a fun ride to watch! it is not a freshman league but with the talent of the sioux freshman coming in, i believe this will be a fun team to watch...this team should light the lamps a bit more and jordan and phil will have to pull out a few wins theirselves..can't wait!!! friday sept 23rd...bochenski nets a goal and a assist for 2 points in 3-0 win over penguins...wow, hes playing great......hes on the top line with spezza and heatley...that line had 8 points combined...

they have not played a pre season game yet..very strange..but he has a chance to be a 2nd or 3rd line center from what i have been hearing...they are obviously very high on him and he is expected to be in he NHL this season..
