j parise and zajac mentions http://hockeysfuture.com/article.php?sid=9098 The likely back-up to Doyle is former University of North Dakota star Jordan Parise. Parise put up some gaudy numbers over the course of his four-year tenure with the Fighting Sioux, including 24 wins, six shutouts and a sparkling .929 save percentage last season. He was not drafted, but is battle tested having helped lead North Dakota to the Frozen Four the past two years. His signing during the summer did not come as a huge surprise as the Devils lacked goaltending depth within the minor pro ranks, especially after the departure of Ari Ahonen to Finland. Having his brother Zach in the organization likely also played a role in Parise ending up in the Devils organization. A trio of top prospects within the system will be expected to contribute heavily in Lowell, should all three not make the big club out of camp. Travis Zajac, Barry Tallackson and David Clarkson all survived the first round of cuts in New Jersey and while all three likely won

i believe the draft has a age limit on being drafted. 18 or something if im not mistaken. someone else can elaborate on this you have to play out your junior year in college to enter the nfl draft you have to be 1 year out of high school in the nba draft you can get drafted a couple times in baseball. once in highschool and then if you choose college i believe you have to go 3 years and then enter the draft again. i may be off on a little but this is pretty close

lee goren with a assist and matt greene dropping the gloves http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/boxscore?gameId=260927006 matt jones playing tonight, he may be the odd man out as the 7th d-man but would probably be better off playing every night in the AHL if so http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/boxscore?gameId=260927025

im 25 so maybe i dont remember that much but im referring to a set challenge that would be done every single year like in ncaa basketball they do the acc vs big 10 challenge.
-
if you are a recruit and have UND, uofmtc and michigan to pick from then you really have a god thing going the wins are very similar with those numbers but personally i will take the 2 national titles along with the great number of wins. thats why we play every year and love sioux hockey because we are lucky as hell to know we have a very solid chance of winning a title EVERY year. not many teams can say that besides a few each in the top conferences.
-
i would love to see a yearly battle between the wcha and hockey east. i think it would be great for college hockey and would be tons of fun for the fans as well. maybe something like a challenge where 1 year all wcha schools go to a hockey east arena and visa versa the following years. or do 5 at wcha arenas and 5 in hockey east arenas then have a trophy or something that goes to the confernce with the most wins. of course the matchups would be based on the teams and how good they are at the time so it would be a fair challenge. it may be even a thing espn2 or at least espnu and cstv can work out to get most of the games broadcasted. whats does everyone else think. personally i respect hockey east hockey but im not a big hockey east fan at all except for MAINE scheduling this season between the 2 conferences SIOUX VS.
