GFC JV (playing without their sophomores who also play Varsity) beat MayPort (who played basically their varsity roster including their two best players Wyatt Heskin and Alex Aarsvold but not 4 others) by a score of 7-4. They played today at 1:30pm in Roseau.

My theory? Team Canada will prioritize CHL players until they consistently get their ass kicked during international play. Thus, McKenzie and Carels over Verhoef

The u18’s were not impressive. However, I was watching from a suite so did not get to watch too closely. were any of the players we were hyperventilating about during their recruiting cycle (Berchild, Bueker especially, Cullen perhaps) look legitimate?

This is a better lineup than last year. Size in the middle (including the goalies), more responsible forwards, and the D is top end. I thinks the kiddos would say this team is lit.

I think you can do it but it is not apparent anyone has tried. 10 stories of housing is a big deal. Besides, with the many apartment projects with their hands out (I count 6) I don’t yet see support for the tax incentives the developers will or will soon request.

for sure. prioritize the golf course and clubhouse, then fit in the commercial driving range and then last do the apartments (let’s collectively refuse to call it housing).
