Why do you care so much about this stuff? I think the BIG will have a more competitive conference this season for sure. Both teams had grade a chances but the goalies and defense played great. That open hit in center ice called for interference was very questionable. This team is starting to play like one. Very exciting hockey game.

Well we are the defending champs so this doesn't sting like it normally would. They just need to shoot the puck quicker

They are playing good. Can't get any chances to go our way. Minny doing a good job blocking shots and getting to the rebounds. They need to release the puck sooner or minny will continue to block the shot.

So 2 of the 3 3rd period goals were rebounds or the puck was just loose , in the slot. And the 3rd was a one timer. All three beat best him short side. 2 blocker and one glove. I don't think cam can be faulted for those. Obviously rebounds need to be eliminated but last year's core was very good about clearing those. Curious on how many blocked shots and shot attempts for the total last night. 5 on 5 play shots were 23-19 per Brad. I like our chances tonight at even strength.

Minnesota has been better in transition. Skating and passing. Our d can't pinch, they have been too slow getting back. And no more scrums. We dont need to kill penalties or lose players to 10 minutes misconducts. We were good first 10 minutes.

So again tomek stayed home. Really odd how a drafted goalie is behind a walk on. Would really like to see him play.
