With only 2 shots from western in the 1st period they certainly are not giving their goalie any help. This und team can definitely control the play and get shots to the net.

The ncaa got rid of the standard 5 on 5 ot rule during the summer for regular season play so i guess that has something to do with it. At least thats what the nchc article stated.
