Blame the parents for naming their kid after a very small town from Western North Dakota. Next thing you know, kids will be named "Gladstone", "Lefor", even "Fairfield"

The WBL / H-M game was pretty good. Only one goal that scored. Left winger hit a good shot that the WBL goalie got his glove on, but it fluttered over the goal line. I look forward to catching a few more of these games this winter.

My opinion: JPar starts on Friday night. If he's on his game, he starts again Saturday night. If not, it's a coin toss.

I've flown to Denver many times and really don't have any complaints - other than the airport is a half hour from the rest of the city. I lived in Denver from Nov 91 to July 92.

I agree. I'm sure they had a hard time sitting down after DH got done with them. But I think DH should have spotted Marvin trying to line up on the DU side during that face off and just pointed him to the locker room.

As I predicted in another thread, the fracas didn't break out until the score got out of hand. Saturday was a disappointment, not only for the score, but also with the way the seniors behaved in the last 3 minutes of the game. DH should have just sent those players to the dressing room himself.

Is anyone else confused by the NJ scoring last night. The write up in the USATODAY says that ZPar got a goal, but the box score does not include his name.

Midcontinent Cable, in Casselton, ND Channel 23, just shows the Midcontinent logo when there are no UND events on. It's almost a rush on game day when that logo turns to the FSSN logo comes on, about 1/2 hour before game time.
