Yes, where was the "D" in the game last night. When I saw the Canadian team go on a 2-0 rush, i could only think that the D had given up.

I thought this article understated the amount of fans coming from the F-M area to attend UND hockey games. The times I've driven up to the Ralph and back for hockey games, I-29 is usually crowded with vehicles with hockey stickers. On several occasions, my wife and I stayed overnight for a weekend series. So I the economic impact is greater than the article describes. Merry Christmans Grand Forks!

2 Questions on Saturday's game: 1. Did Porter begin the game playing on a line with Watkins and Kozek and then move up to the first line? Or was he caught in the line change when he scored that first goal? 2. How did that assist from Radke get across the blue line that Toews skated to and scored (on the PP)? I think JF looked ok this weekend. Maybe not great, but he was there, and very much needed.

I think this will be the moment in time when the team comes together because they start to stand up for each other on the ice. This incident may be just what the team needed to start playing as a team. My $0.02 worth.
