Our defense usually gives up a TD either way on the first drive so may as well defer.

I think we can move the ball against them, much better than in the past at least. I do not think we will be able to stop them very much, but would be huge if Luepke isn’t playing.

Usually, but then the other side of that is with no hockey in town the games are at 3, so it kind of balances out.

I get that hockey is playing Denver and that it will always be bigger in GF but it is so dissapointing that there will be a bigger crowd at that game tonight and a full student section. This was basically a playoff game, win and you’re in, and we can’t even get 10k. Not to mention it was against a local school in USD. This team deserves better.

There is no way of knowing, we aren’t at the practices. It is very possible the WR had a brain cramp. It does happen in football from time to time.

Pick 6. Tommy under throw for pick to end 1st half. Fumble to gift them a TD in the second half. A long punt return to gift them another TD in the second half. Another Tommy under throw to Maag in the second half that could have been a big gain. These are way too many big mistakes if you want to win against the #1 team in the FCS.
