Motherwell resigns again. Might be a good thing for the program. I’m sure Hutter came in and Mal gave him a lot of authority to how the program should be run and certain schemes and philosophies.

I’m having a hard time thinking Bo was under utilized. If he was it’s due to every D watching him.
He did get the ball plenty but always thought it was weird how often he got rotated out. He should be on the field almost every play IMO.

I’m feeling pretty pessimistic right now about next year. I’ve been a big Danny guy so that’s a big reason and then the o-line turnover + no faith in Joel and the D. Right now, this is my prediction
Iowa State - L
Montana - L
Idaho State - W
San Diego - W
Murray State - W
NDSU - L
UNI - L
Youngstown State - L
Indiana State - L
SDSU - L
USD - W (only because we never lose to them at home)
Illinois State - L
4-8…. like I said, I am feeling pretty pessimistic right now. Maybe by fall ball I will put the green colored glasses back on.
Would agree with this. Indiana State would be very winnable as well.

Any insights into how this goes down? A coach sits across from a player they have spent two years supporting and developing in their academic and athletic life. Kid says everything is fine one day and the next the coach sees them in the portal?
So the kid was lying and plotting the whole time for a bag of silver. One injury, or they don't meet expectations, and that new school, which sees them as a piece of meat, will throw them on the scrap heap and have a new bag for the next one on the list.
Integrity, honesty, friendships, gone for a bag of silver that will be gone in a year.
Do you think Hagen is getting NIL offers and goes FBS? I know he’s been solid but just wondering.

So our blowout of NDSU set this program back 3 years basically?

Cade Borud in now too.
I wasn’t that concerned about the OL going into next year. Now I am…

We need all the DL help we can get!

Mal has to improve many things including her demeanor
Unless Hutter has mellowed down in recent years, he is very similar to Mal on the sideline.

Haven’t tried everyone on the list, but Happy Joe’s is the easy answer for me.

Do other Summit teams lose top players? Only real way to compare
Bison lost their top 2 guys. Although Skunberg was known for a while.
Omaha lost Fidler who killed us in the tourney.
This is how the Summit is going to be in the current era. Top scorers are rarely going to stay around.

I bet Rohde is having fun tonight
Virginia offense is brutal. This has been a tough game to watch

Didn’t know whether to put into this thread or not, but as expected, Fidler is in the portal. He absolutely killed us in the tourney. Will be interesting to see where he lands.

I wish I could match up Ralphie and the boys to their accounts on here. I have some guesses already…

Can Kraft turn into a Matt Norman type of player?
Matt Norman would have been perfect for this years team off the bench.

If we somehow retain everybody we should be picked 1 or 2 next year in the league.
-
I’m not saying fire Sather, but that is one of the most embarrassing and pathetic losses in recent memory. We had a nice path to the championship and screwed it up. We were in control of that game, up 10 late.
I’m so sick and tired of the current state of UND athletics outside of hockey. We can never build off momentum and get to the next level.

This would be an all time collapse

Up by 4 and didn’t play our best basketball. We are shooting well, just need to start taking care of the basketball.

Too many turnovers…

Good start today. Not on pace to give up 100, yet…

Good to hear. The tailgate deck thing for the NDSU game was nice last year.
