I don't have a problem with C. Engelstad's plan for the floor at the betty. Get used to it. That's what the ice at the Ralph will look like as well. No FH logo at the center. The FH logo will be secondary to North Dakota.

Others that supported Nodaks, Dean Blais, Brad Berry, Dave Hakstol (his 2nd choice behind just North Dakota), Kris McGarry, REA. Yes, I see a pattern here!

Ask Jody Hodgson sometime what the position of the REA was before the nickname committee was formed. (He is not my source).

Remember, Nodaks was one of the 5 choices. If it was fighting nodaks, it may have won.

Truth be told the REA wanted to go with Nodaks well before formation of the nickname committee. If REA was given their way, we would have Nodaks as our unique name and a better logo than what we ended up with.

Threatening to sue anyone toward the beginning of any conversation will start a fight; let alone make that threat to your largest donor. I've seen enough of this guy and I believe he's earned the reputation of being abrasive to existing and potential donors to the detriment of those trying to raise money for UND. I say wake up and smell the coffee, UND needs to send him packing sooner than later.

Where can I lay down a bet that Kennedy is holding the short straw and will be leaving UND before this time next year? Will Vegas give me decent odds?

Ask anyone trying to raise money right now for UND. This Kennedy joker needs to leave.

In my view, Kennedy looks like the buffoon saying at least 4 times "he doesn't recall saying that". If he didn't make those statements, then say so.

Will Borgen's mom was sitting behind me at the Ralph. Nice lady. We both agreed that the Rodents suck. When we took the tie breaker it OT on Saturday night, she responded to the UND student section's chant of "husky women". Her quote was "well you guys are the fighting hawks". Nobody in my section took issue with her comment. Only 1 comment from 1 of my neighbors, "we have 8 Nattys, how many you have"? No one defended the FH name. "Hockey only fans, you know."

That's what agree to disagree means.

I am OK with those that accepted the name and logo. To get along with my relatives, we just agree to disagree. That is the same here Darrell. I will never say anything negative to those that wear FH gear in public or at UND games.

I don't have a problem with this statement. Again, per nickname committee minutes, "it should be remembered that respect for and acceptance of the new nickname cannot be mandated, but rather needs to be earned". I agree with F4S that this group represents the majority; those that don't accept and/or respect the FH name. I don't have any stats to prove it. Sorry Darrell.

FH should not have been on the list. Only 1 person submitted it from the stakeholder group. It didn't meet any of the criteria, while Nodaks, Sundogs, RR, Northstars met some of the requirements.

I can wait 10 years. I know, I can make up my own logo and put it on my Jeep!! Maybe it will catch on quicker than 10 years!!

We lost all things unique to UND by choosing a generic bird logo. I disagree with your statement.
