Just looked at Ticketmaster....not looking good for perhaps the biggest game played at the Al in the d1 era....

Absolutely pumped for this game! I get a little teary eyed when it's senior day and this particular group of seniors has been through A LOT and have given us the hope we have been wanting since becoming d1 status. Finally!! Come out and give them a rousing thank you! They deserve it! Add to it, Und sits very close to a seed with a W plus going undefeated in the big sky!! Wow! Who would of thought that three years ago. Just take care of business....you guys have done it for the last two months, make it one more!!! I would love nothing more than to go to a home d1 playoff game.....let's not make this the seniors last home game !! Also nervous about this game. N zona has the most talented team we faced this year offensively and defensively speaking. They have been playing some great ball lately and definitely have momentum....Und needs to put it to an end. On offense, WR Butler is a complete beast, 6'4" 220, fantastic route runner and hands of glue. But it's E Marks that has me the most worried, absoulute burner!!! Hunt is in for a long day trying to keep up with him. Could be a lot of single coverage by und Saturday with the talent they have and how they spread around. Need to be at our best. Nice talented combo of rbs with a fresh and a senior... but not overly concerned as our front seven should shut them down. This week more than ever is an absolute must that our front seven gets pressure on their qb, cannot let him get comfortable with the talented WRs. Their TE has been playing some nice ball recently, need to keep an eye on him. Defensively, they are smaller but fast! We did not fair well against webers d which is also fast. NAU leads the big sky in sacks and 4th in rush d. #90 anau could possibly be the big sky DPOY....aggressive DE that looks to be all over the field. Great player. We will miss Studsrud and his versatility on Saturday if he's still out. Bartles could potentially take some hits as he just doesn't have the escapability that studs has. A lot depends on the health of our o line as well. Their secondary is young and will give up the occasional big pass.....hope we can take advantage. Und needs to shove the ball down their throats and control the TOP. Would love to see santiago out wide with Brady and Gordon carrying the ball....Brady 25-30 carries....Gordon 10-15 carries. We need to match their speed on d with our power game. Santiago could take short screen passes and then let him do what he does best....juke and go! Sprinkle in some TE action to victory. Lastly, the alerus needs to be loud!!!! If only 7000 show, no excuses for anything under 10000, everyone that attends need to support this team and be loud!!!! 1st down loud!! 2nd down loud!!! 3rd down loud!!!! NAU is a fast paced team that checks all the time....and being loud will disrupt them...gauranteed! 12th man!!! Our team is a little tired and beat up.....they need support! It's Senior day, chance for big sky crown, undefeated in big sky, potential seed, national recognition ...this game should be a buzz the entire time! Bubba has done a fantastic job and the boys have responded now we as fans need to step up!! Cant wait!!!!

We match up better with the ndsus,UNIs, citadels of the world than the e wash's, sam Houston's, sdsu's of the world. I would like to see the committee put und in the ndsu bracket.

Would be interesting to see where the committee has und at the current moment. It's going to be tough for und to jump into a seed spot with the teams mentioned and their remaining schedules. James Madison has two tough games left, Chattanooga obviously will lose one more to Alabama but that will not affect anything, charleston has maybe one tough game left (not really) and c Arkansas has sam Houston left. That will drop them to two loses against some good teams. As always, und just win!

Und is 16-6 in their last 22 games, a 73% winning percentage. As far as I'm concerned thats damn impressive......especially considering what bubba was left with. A complete BS call last year that they didn't make the playoffs.... this year they should be in. Ranked anywhere from #11-#16 and a current 7 game win streak. Also top of the standings in big sky. All firsts in the d1 era. Not sure winning is the answer, because they're doing that!! Its great that they're averaging over 10000 in the four games, which is much better then the last 10 years, but the students need to be rafter deep, loud and the alerus as whole should be averaging at least 11000-12000 with what bubba has accomplished so far......it's been a long time that that we've had a relevant team, support them! 8500 people for as big as a game as it was, is pathetic. For three consecutive nights last week, our only local tv station , wdaz, did not recognize und football. How!? A huge home game between two undefeated big sky teams that were on a combined 11 game win steak with playoff implications...C'mon! Tom miller has some nice write ups occasionly in the herald but we need all media outlets, which includes wdaz to do a better job of promoting und football..... Hammer it home!! I can't watch kthi because it's a constant barrage of ndsu, but at least they're doing it! Get the people of GF the knowledge and updates they need to be proud of this team. Keep people interested. There is a big game in colorado this weekend, hope to hear a weeks worth of und football

Bartles mechanics are terrible too, but seems to hit the deep throws. Bartles might be out this week as well depending on how bad his injury is. So our 2 listed backups have bad mechanics, one has no experience the one has bad experiences. Not much to choose from.

Mollberg has started at qb for bubba already and was coming along real nice before his injury. He knows the playbook and obviously knows how to be a qb. Smart guy that has a cannon of a arm. He can also run. Now that he is healthy, if studs is to miss anytime,I would like to see him. Bartles has a nice arm but that's about it. Maybe the best pure passer und has? Very injury prone Heidelbaugh.... I so want him to be successful! Confidence seems to be lacking.....not sure he's ready yet. His face screamed terror when he was in yesterday. Bad mechanics but athletic. Good sized kid.

Stanley is missed dearly with his fantastic blocking. Demun has some growing up to do with his blocking skills. Still like the idea of having santiago out wide occasionally with brady and Gordon at rb. When they lined Santaigo out wide against cal poly, his one catch and run was brilliant. Do teams double him out there???

One more win= in two more wins= potential seed If und was to grab a seed they would have three weeks into between games, not sure that would be a good thing? It would definitely heal them up but would it be a momentum??
