This thread has kind of devolved into a hockey vs football thread. Probably the closest we could get to a apple to apple comparison is to have the Sioux hockey team and the Bison football team suit up in tennis shoes, meet on a basketball court, and have a soccer game.

I suppose if somebody posted something like “ good luck to the Bison tonight “ on this message board they would be banned for life from all things Sioux Sports and wouldn’t dare show up East of the Missouri River?

Do think the UND H - -k is the better of the four but in the opinion of many, it was chosen to replace what was possibly the most iconic logo in sports history so it’s not getting its due.

Just about every day since this thread was started I read the first four posts and bust out laughing.

I can’t take it anymore. Two days ago I said I was done. I retired all my UND/Sioux gear to the top corner shelf of a nondescript closet. I made plans to peel the stickers off my vehicles and the signs off my garage BUT DAMN. I am pumped for next year. I’m seeing this through to the bitter end. 2019 season the team needs added weight on the defensive line. A lot of talent but they need size. Look what Mason Bennett has done. Unbelievable. Running back: James can’t do It alone. Need two more. Austin Gordon can cover one of these spots if another Brady/John can’t be had. These are the two biggest issues in my opinion. Take care of these two issues then start on the rest GO SIOUX

Not singling any one or one position out but this was probably the most repulsive game I’ve ever attended. The bright spot was special teams. It’s been a good 3+ years but I no longer have a dog in the fight so I’m drifting to the sidelines. Teeder, Geaux-Sioux, wish you would of taken me up on that beer offer. Would of loved to of met you two. I’ll check in from time to time to see what the rest of you IBF’s, (ignorant butt faces) are up to. Your a blast, especially after a 1/2 pint and a 40 ounce malt liquor.
