  1. Trevor Moore and Troy Stecher with LA's two goals so far tonight.
  2. Wrist injury and then knee injury. https://unothegateway.com/from-car-ride-to-concussion-omahas-jake-harrison-and-jason-smallidge-share-unique-bond-through-injury-plagued-season/
  3. Jason Smallidge is a right hand D with NCHC experience, and as a MN resident gets a discount on tuition in lieu of a scholarship.
  4. Tyson Dyck up to 110 in final scouting ranking. Any other uncommitted prospects ranked?
  5. A big part of Senden's appeal was he captained his high school and junior teams to championships (both were underdogs too, I think). Let's see if he's got the NCAA in him.
  6. Any time I read a Wellens article it makes me thankful for Schloss. https://www.therinklive.com/mens-division-1/nchc/umd-mens-hockey-bulldogs-land-usa-hockey-ntdp-center-cole-spicer-for-2022-23-season Seriously, the lede starts off with a sentence that an editor would rewrite: " The Grand Forks native was originally committed to North Dakota, having already signed an NLI. " The was serves no purpose, there's passive voice, and he assumes the audience knows what an NLI is. The quote he pulled from Spicer is garbage too. Then he randomly inserts a tweet that he doesn't even address.
  7. Choosing Duluth effectively makes his ability/likelihood to transfer here non-existent. Time to start prepping the personalized chants for his appearances at the Ralph.
  8. Wearing Sioux gear in the northwest has resulted in people asking me if I'm a pilot. UND is a flight school to many.
  9. Can only imagine how much of the money given to these kids will be pissed away. A financial literacy course needs to be mandated by the NCAA as a condition for receiving anything. Pretty sure the collective is already named: The Good Ol' Boys Club.
  10. Looks like the people running them are former compliance officers for athletic departments. Reminds me of the hippies with JDs whose goal was to work in Environmental Law and then wound up working for oil companies to help them navigate regulations.
  11. Have we started a UND hockey collective yet? https://www.si.com/college/2022/05/02/nil-name-image-likeness-experts-divided-over-boosters-laws-recruiting
  12. It still seems odd looking at USHL draft results and having none of them committed to a college.
  13. Having grown up in the same area as the Lucius kids, I have mixed feelings about the dad (a Moorhead native). He is polarizing, but known for his generosity. It'll be interesting to see if their injury issues stem from repetitive stress after playing hockey 24/7 their entire lives.
  14. Hopefully the status of a Grand Forks native is more accurately gossiped about on here. Someone said Clown, Western and ASU were his finalists
  15. Probably the most satisfying goal of Jost's career. Boeser with two yesterday including the game winner in OT. Who has the best chance at the cup?
  16. To not give him at least a few games after LaFontaine left showed a lack of faith.
  17. If I edit the post to say little to no scholarship money, the point still stands. I based it on the knowledge that Adams had his pulled after an unproductive sophomore season.
  18. No surprise that the dad who founded a high school at a hockey rink would be a handful for coaches. Cruz's WHL rights are suddenly worth a lot with Chaz most likely playing in Portland next year.
