Happy for him. Seeing the Avs win it after being traded to a rival had to take a toll. Would love to see him take CM's spot.

Miami is trending upward this year and would LOVE to prove they are back with a good showing this weekend.

Stayed off for the last few days, just wanted to say we better start having ads with our players if a Bison BBaller has one.

Schmaltz is doing well on the dot.

UND is currently #24 in the PWR.
The loss to ASU and the tie against UNO are certainly not helping right now.We have two games at home against a #3 team that needs no intro to the Ralph. Come late Saturday night we are getting a much better peek at our fate.
Did he cite any data beyond last year? It's math and all so can't be hard to measure deviation from final based on the weekend number.

NIL may be the downfall of North Dakota hockey’s elite status. The big schools will bring in all of the 1st and 2nd rounders. It’s a new age in hockey, all of college sports.
The sky isn't falling yet. We will always be a destination for development. There are only so many top 6 spots. Think about it this way, club hockey kids, college kids transferring to get ice, and NAHL leftovers at Lindenwood are playing very respectably. On that note, guess who I want to replace Berry someday.

7 uncommitted kids on the u17 us team hopefully we’re in on some. I see one of their stars James Hagens is one. Really hope we’re in on him
He has a very similar path to Pinto prior to NTDP. #NODAKSens will hopefully be used for a long time.

Last Saturday morning I said I hoped for Judd to score and he did, this week it's Costantini. Really liked his game last year, but he's been in a bit of a sophomore slump. He is always giving it everything he's got; the breaks just haven't come his way yet. Break the seal and get some of that confidence back.

How about those Canadian u20 teams…anyone actually read those allegations
Absolutely, and only the officials at Hockey Canada have had any repercussions.

Evander Kane still playing negates anything Bettman says about Miller not being welcome in the league.

Were we interested in him at all?
Looking at his stats probably not.

Congrats to Mason Poolman on committing to UST. Get a series going between us, there's gotta be a 4-5k capacity rink in the vicinity they could use for it.
-
Happy for both Judd and Kleven to get the monkeys off their backs, especially Judd. Once again losing a lead is troubling though.

On Twitter he alludes to the mom being disingenuous about the lack of apology.

I'm rooting for Judd to pot one tonight. He's a local kid with a letter, just never put it together and is feeling the pressure knowing his time is coming to an end. Pretty sure he's an academic award winner too. Reminds me of Mattson's senior year, he had the most points on the team in the second half after a rough start to the season.

This is not true at all.
We need to have the Rizzo misinformation pinned. Rizzo was announced as part of the 2020 class, but decommitted right after that. This took place the summer of 2020, see the article below.
My bad. I must have confused when he decommitted from us with when he committed to Denver.

Also, it seems to appear Tyler Dunbar is no longer a commit?
Good catch, most recent line chart shows uncommited.

I know we keep bringing this up but it wasn't the coaches delaying him. He made the decision to move on and it caught the coaches by surprise. Put it this way, I was at the UND hockey sale this summer and there was a pair of skates for sale with Rizzo on them. He was fully expected to be here last year and Schlossman has even stated this.
He decommitted shortly after we brought in Jamernik at the midway point of the 20-21 season. There has to be a cause and effect there.

Moldenhauer to Mich, Lippai to UST

The major issue this year (conceding leads) is on the players, especially the leadership.

Arizona State University considered it a big game, destination & storied program & highly ranked with tons of fans present. I don't think Arizona saw it as a big game as they are an ACHA club team, maybe play NDSU as their big game.
While you're here, what's your review of the new arena? Spacious seats, good sight lines, etc.?

With two losses in destination games to new programs, it feels like a proverbial passing of the torch to the upstarts. Hit the brakes on destinations and focus on scheduling big name OOC opponents.
Felt like we were gonna pot another one to go up 3-0 on the PP, then suddenly we're on the PK and the whole game shifted. Was tough to watch. Had to choose between this weekend and a bucket list trip in a few weeks and can only imagine how mad I'd be if I hadn't chosen the latter.

Didn't (couldn't) watch either game, but to spank a team and then get beat the next night is embarrassing. Leadership faltered and buried the team before Thanksgiving.
