He certainly had an embarassing final moment in a UND jersey. Props to him for proving the doubters wrong. Can't think of an NCAA 4th rounder to take the NHL by storm like this since Johnny Hockey (RIP).

Insanely short-sighted on their part. They wasted a tender on him then. Given the choice between the Vancouver Giants and TC Storm...

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. After the quick two they kept trying to make highlight reel plays. Grind it out and leave no doubt; highlight reels aren't the desired outcome.

Watching some of the Senators game tonight, you can guess who was called for a penalty that wouldn't have gotten called a decade ago. Playing Sioux hockey the way it was is a recipe for seasoned penalty killers now.

Hopefully they plan some sort of bus from the downtown/ capital/ campus area to the game and back. No student ticket pricing?

Last night was winnable; players who would normally be in suits made mistakes that made the difference. Take it out on lesser opponents, get some confidence before Clown and get healthy. -

Between going on birthright and spending a good amount of my 20's in youth hostels, not the least bit surprised to see him do that. -

What's the line? My state doesn't allow betting on college sports so I can't find it. -
A few more overagers from MJ committed, BGSU, LSSU and UAF all getting in on it. The blue chips are staying silent so they don't get less ice time. It'll take a few years for MJ to accept their relegated status down the development pyramid.

Brad quoting Lucia in an article about keeping college hockey's enrollment window open until players turn 21 is why he's the best in the business. Forcing him to advocate for an extended runway as a commissioner when he previously wanted it shortened as a coach won't go unnoticed by college hockey fans.

Probably the first of a few to scale back. Low caliber private colleges are struggling. Lang passed on so many opportunities to help his alma mater. No good deed goes unpunished.

Perron went down soft. But if you know the refs are calling it, more power to him. -

I can't be objective on this subject, but this coach picks two top notch schools in HC and Bentley where hockey is the big sport on campus, and thinks he's putting down the college game? Mercyhurst and Niagra aren't good academically, and are also in Atlantic. He doesn't say anything about them because they both have OHL teams in town.
