Is he aging out or leaving early? Players leaving before their eligibility expires might keep their commits silent longer to not find themselves further down the line chart.
-
Must be enjoying himself in Madison for juniors.
-
Brad's article lists a slew of WHL players projecting as 1st rounders for next summer's draft. Canadians aren't eligible for NIL money on student visas is the impression I'm under, so that may not end up being as important to college hockey after this seachange.
-
No idea; McMahon said there are a dozen silent commits he knows of though.
-
Sounds like commits were waiting for the news to announce, guessing we will have at least one soon.
-
John Stout recently decommitted from Duluth. Wonder where he ends up.

Q gets our underperforming draft pick D men out of the portal.
-
Watch the refs put us down 5x3 after refusing to call them for an additional penalty on our PP.
-
Corban Knight is also likely done, hasn't been under contract since last season ended.
-
Kristo's play backed up his swagger. I remember us being down to Holy Cross at home (Jan 2013 I believe) and he just took over on the power play to either tie or take the lead. You could feel the tension at the Ralph evaporate with the celebration. EDIT: both the tying and GWG were products of his power play prowess. Thank you Goon for preserving these highlights:

Per Mike McMahon newsletter, UMN NIL collective received a big donation. Time to step it up Englestads, Nistlers, et al.

They want a full crowd, so they settled for a 7k seat arena. San Diego seats just shy of 13k for hockey, is right by the airport and downtown (not to mention the beach), and is lovely in November. What are other AHL/ECHL towns in desirable/accessible locations? After not selling out NHL arenas that ship has probably sailed for a while.

It can be, Nov-Feb/March are when it's constant though. Was just there for a Kraken game against Calgary and it was gorgeous out that weekend. As always, spotted a UND jersey in the crowd.

Dillon Simpson I believe
-
Prior to a few weeks ago he would have been a flight risk to MJ until he gets to campus. Now we don't have to worry!
-
Shea Van Olm is doing well for Spokane as an undrafted overager in the dub. Calgary native, of which we have a few on the team right now. Only question is if his academics are where they need to be to play NCAA.
-
Cole Smith with his first goal of the year for the Preds. I still remember hearing that we had a commitment from a Branierd kid out the MJHL and thought he was another Coltyn Sanderson depth role player. What a diamond in the rough he wound up being.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season
AlphaMikeFoxtrot replied to Frozen4sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
DU tickets on sale on Friday. Anyone know how to get them? Just so happens I'll be in town, would going to campus help my odds? -
They showed it between the 2nd and 3rd periods while Alex interviewed him, so if you have nchc.tv you can pull it up. He was trying to keep his emotions from overcoming him, it was definitely a special moment for him.

"Miami is on the brink of a dynasty!" remains the greatest article ever written about college hockey.
-
Split home vs UND but they are better than expected for sure.
-
Nothing here but 4 points! Throwback to when something so innocuous on social media was considered problematic.
-
Almost as bad as whoever it was (maybe Eiserman?) that shared a graphic of them committing to Minnesota University.

Couldn't watch, but reading the game story everyone quoted says they played well but didn't break the seal. Begrudgingly confirmed, or vehemently denied?
