Don't want Omaha in the first round if they aren't already a lock for the tournament. First off they'd be playing for their lives unlike Jan and Western. Second, Omaha just had a coach pass away; I and many others are rooting for them to succeed in honor of him so I don't want to be conflicted about UND winning. If we can't win on the road then we can't win in Minneapolis.
The taking it all in and grateful talk sounds similar to what people say on senior night. But it could be just the game winner moment after seeing Gucci do it so many times his freshman year.

Which is especially frustrating considering Senden's leadership was considered a huge intangible after winning the state tournament, Clark Cup, and everything like that. The engagement curse is real.
It'd be interesting to hear what the Red Wings scout in the stands thought of the game. Between James, Moore, Mazur and Buium they had a wide range of evaluations to process.
