If we were top three in the NCHC and a playoff lock it's not as big of an issue. We all know the current state of things though.
A guy I skate with is a UMass fan and said Morrow regressed this year. I don't think he'd be the solution for our current defensive woes.

Dillon Simpson would be a great coach. Sucks his career here ended the way it did, but he captained a team that made a major turn around despite hiccups and always sounded like a coach in interviews.

James' emergence is a sight for an entire fanbase's sore eyes, not to mention the Wings and their fans.
I'm in the minority but I'd rather play St Cloud in the first round. They are not playing to keep their season going like Omaha, and are struggling without their stud D who is out for the year.

The Gophers practicing in Rochester this weekend is a good idea for the Gophers and a good opportunity for Rochester to show its appreciation for hockey. There should be a USHL franchise there, it's less than an hour from Shattuck.

Kraken game had a little intro segment for Hakstol and ESPN made a serious effort to crop out the Sioux logo.
Also, Bucci nearly creamed himself when Zegras scored a between the legs goal. Hextall is a lot less tolerable as an announcer with him as her partner.
